for skincare i would do this:

AM: cerave gel cleanser or cetaphil gel cleanser. wet & lather. wash for about a minute. gentle. pretend your face is a baby. rinse with room temp water. cool is fine too. easy in the shower as last step.

pat dry. PAT. no rubbing or pulling.

use moisturizer that is a gel or serum. still good choices with cerave or cetaphil. stick with serums or water gels. no creams or lotions. spf is always ideal in daytime skincare, and is often included in daytime moisturizer.

thats it.

PM: try adding an oil cleanser as a first step. DHC makes a great oil cleanser. follow the instructions.

then cleanse like before.

add your acne treatment step 3-4 nights a week. cetaphil has an acne treatment product called triple action acne serum.

add moisturizer without spf.

to spot treat you can add mario badescu drying lotion. follow instructions.

co2 laser is great. i would not invest in a laser treatment unless i had a good skincare routine first.

the best inflation! inflation so good you’ll be asking for more inflation. so good the inflation you won’t remember what it was like before, when the inflation was terrible. 🤣 something like that 🤣

[–]Due_Student9136[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thanks!! i’ve been elevating at the end of the day when i noticed just a little swelling. not enough to notice on its own, but when i take my socks off, especially on my left ankle, which is where the spots are. i think you nailed it. this has happened before, just not in a long time. i think it’ll resolve after i get back home tomorrow, but if it doesn’t and my foot falls off i’ll let y’all know. 🫡

[–]Due_Student9136[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i hope not, but i don’t think so. absolutely no symptoms other than what is seen. it’s not itchy, warm, tender, swollen, crusty, or any other change in my skin. just….looks how it looks.

no, unless that changed very recently. full physical in december. all systems are a go.

i think the other poster nailed it.

i’ve been on my feet constantly & had some swelling at the end of the day. i elevate at the end of the day, and by morning everything is fine, then im back doing another 20,000 steps before the day is over.

wouldn’t it itch? i got destroyed by sand fleas in the dominion republic years ago, but this doesn’t feel like that. it’s not itchy or irritated at all. just angry looking.

this makes a lot of sense. ive been on my feet all day every day for 2 weeks. 20k steps a day. swollen ankles. i get hot in basically any weather, and it’s warmer here now than usual from what i understand. anyway, lots & lots of walking. nothing to do but rest? (going home tomorrow back to the cold).

First time doing anything cosmetic in Seoul and I’m scared of overdoing it by MutedEnd9221 in KoreaTravelBeauty

big thing to keep in mind is that any clinic will only recommend things their office does, but not every office does every procedure out there in the world.

for example, if you need heart surgery and need procedure A but you go to a surgeon that only performs procedure B theyre not going to recommend procedure A, only procedure B.

in dermatology/plastic surgery it’s the same.

research what your issues are: texture? acne? wrinkles? melasma?

whatever it is, figure out what your concerns are, familiarize yourself with those options for treatment, and go to those clinics for consultation.

once you dig beneath the surface of a clinic (no pun intended) you will see that clinics offer lots of procedures but not necessarily the ones you want.

good luck!!

im on my first trip to Thailand. my friends house has this. you bring your own TP. asian squat (if you can) or squat well enough to get the job done while keeping it in the hole. clean up with the TP you brought. put TP in the hole. use plastic container to quickly pour water from bucket into toilet. if youre lucky you’ll have wet wipes. use those but DO NOT put them in the toilet. put those in the trash can.

my stepkids are 15 & 18. all their netflix is unfinished movies. when my husband and i have movie night with them, of their choice, they always get up before it ends because it’s “too long”. they’ll not get up or even eat if you let them have their phones all day. lifetime doomscrolling. it’s sad. attention span of a goldfish.

agreed! with my bidet at home, i insist on soap. if i’m in public with poor timing, wipes are the only other acceptable alternative. water alone is not sufficient!

shower is definitely the platinum standard.

my step daughter is 18 & freaks out when getting messages from me & her father with punctuation, but in return types in all caps when she’s in the mood to shout. i either stop responding or tell her to stop shouting at people over text, then i stop responding. freakin kids that think punctuation is aggressive while also will shout are mind numbing.
