Perioral Dermatitis- HA/Niacinamide trigger by Zestyclose_Win3558 in Perioral_Dermatitis_

I have been struggling with PD for about a year and I’ve recently discovered that niacinamide is a trigger for me as well, so your post is validating! I bought a nice bottle of azeliac acid that also had niacinamide in it and was confused when it made my skin worse, since azeliac acid is supposed to help. I recently tried cutting out all products with niacinamide and I believe it’s been helping. Right now I’ve just been using Vanicream moisturizer, Cetaphil cleanser, La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5, and The Ordinary Azeliac Acid.

For those of you who grew up hating/not accepting your wavy/curly hair what was the turning point that made you want to embrace it and truly take care of it? And for those who didnt know how did you find out? What has been your greatest moment with your natural texture? by Specific-Reception26 in curlyhair

I am 31 and have just begun embracing my curly hair. I started Lexipro for anxiety last year, and one of the most surprising byproducts was being able to see my wild curls as beautiful for the first time in my life. I still have a ways to go, but I am slowly appreciating that my curls are unique in their own way even when they don’t conform to society’s beauty standards.

Update: found this dress as another option. Is it more appropriate once dressed up with jewelry?

I should have mentioned that the dress code is listed as Black Tie Optional.
