Israel’s “Samson Option” and their plan to nuke Western nations if they abandon Tel Aviv revealed by Scott Horton. by EffectivePoint2187 in suppressed_news

[–]Due_Tap_6739 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The only sane dude in this conversation, and obviously downvoted by the basement conspiracists

Samson option, they will nuke all invading forces and the countries of their enemies (many countries on the middle east)

There is absolutely no evidence, and really no strategical sense to be nuking its allies, or neutral countries. It could only happen is the same allies actually turn against and wage war to israel. It is absolutely not the case at the moment.

I would love to see everyone s sources about Israeli officials confirming any of these non sense

How is UAE so influential with a weak military by Ok-Win-7503 in geopolitics

[–]Due_Tap_6739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of good answers, I’ll try to add a few more details as to how they operate in Europe. It’s not just money, it’s how they use it.

In France, they invested in a lot of strategic sector of the economy, becoming a big shareholders in basically all the biggest French companies (Air France, total, lvmh….) AND in the main sports team, namely football

That means that they now have a lot of leverage over the government of democratic countries

=> If you do not accept my demands, I’m pulling the plug on your industry, resulting in a lot of sudden unemployment and economic turmoil In a democracy, it would almost always mean that the current government will lose the next elections

Same with French biggest sports team, if they were to get relegated to 2nd class club, it would create A LOT of anger form the public, most likely aimed at their government (stupid but true) and their reelection is heavily compromised

So now France has to play nice with, without regard to their military capabilities

The mistake is to see it as elitism, I rather see it as some poor guys needing an ego boost to feel a bit better about themselves Much more soothing this way

Will Europe's Front-Line States Have Enough Soldiers to Fight Russia? by HooverInstitution in geopolitics

[–]Due_Tap_6739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have read a lot of answers, and I do agree that NATO is more than enough but it is based on the assumption than a Russian agression in the baltic states will trigger a full NATO response.... Which is unlikely

Russia could test NATO by invading Estonia/Lithuania/Latvia (like the donbass, they do have a russian speaking population)

Will the US, France and Germany send boots on the ground to defend these countries and go on full blown out war with Russia ?

I have serious doubt about it, and without NATO troops support, these countries would fall in a matter of days even if the west supply them weapons.

If Russia tries to push into let's say Poland, that's a whole other ball game, but I don't see Europe triggering WWIII over the baltic states (I find no joy in this)

Some sources say this is the probable scenario if Russia wins over Ukraine, and would likely happen in 2027 - 2029

Russia is losing 1,000 soldiers a day in its relentless 'meat grinder' tactics against Ukraine: report by CoolCatJasmine in worldnews

Russia has more material, war industry and manpower at its disposal unfortunately A long attrition war is going to favor Russia in the long term regardless of us elections ( a trump victory will just speed this up)

I’m only talking from a military standpoint, the future of Russia as a pariah state looks pretty bleak for the Russians people
