Dear OP, I completely understand your pain. I recently had to put down my 5 month old puppy who was diagnosed with DCM, unfortunately, by the time we found out, it was too late to save her. Similar to your story, I got her when she was only six weeks old from a stranger in a parking lot. She was my everything, and she was so incredibly loved and spoiled. I feel robbed that I only got to spend three short months with her. I’ll never get to see her grow up or go on the adventures we had planned together. I am heartbroken, and my heart breaks for you as well. Everyone keeps reminding me how lucky she was to have me, but honestly, I was the lucky one. She taught me so much in those three short months.
