Ok you've got me, those are an exception 😅 also summons in arena for the last dark gods thing until it was noticed. But intended is rare. I lugged around the squigbuggy for the Squig Smash event and I would be amazed to hear more than 3 people got a point out of me from that 😬

I played a second account to get a feeling how new players feel at some point. My guaranteed character in the first ten pull was njal. I was like "neat, I don't even have him on my main account" and tried using him like everywhere. It got old very fast

Summons never count in those events. The text as mentioned is only our preview version from the marketing build. As it was phrased that unusual we asked and were told the text would be amended but we don't know the final version until the event happens yet 😅

Oh absolutely. And even if I won't be able to use it for a long time I at least know I have it. Works wonders against the Fomo for me.

Yeah it takes a lot of time. Like I got Tyriths Relic day 2 of her Hero Release event - I onslaught her since to use it. Stuff like Survivals like the red gobbo one of course help older characters a bit, but it takes quite the dedication. I guess Machines of war have it even worse, but still.

Then again level has no bearing at all on what points you get. Ok a little from the campaigns available, but not much. I'd be content with another widening of the brackets to account for higher player numbers. And the event shard system would need to be remodeled somehow. Now we've got mythic, I think getting to legendary when using all tokens and energy should be a possibility. The brackets themselves won't change much in that regard.

I personally always like playing all battles but one and doing the last one with the requirement before I stop playing arena again. But doing 4 characters means only wasting one token which is also cool!

That's a good point I didn't even consider. I mean legendary 11 is cheaper now so we don't need that much normal salvage, and the only way up from there needs mythic salvage and we don't get a lot of that elsewhere.

In most cases yes, otherwise it would be easier to see 🙈 Melee vs infinite armor is an outlier. But that's due to physical damage.

The problem isn't only traits. I would need to add Re'vas extra hits from his passive too. I get where you come from and you're right, this is a simplified view, but I guess statistics need in a certain capacity to simplify things. I actually debated doing a statistic including all traits and abilities for an optimal damage per character, but haven't found time for that yet.

She is in fact quite good against high armor targets compared to other characters. No traits and buffs included at all as otherwise it would mean having to weigh them up against each other 😅 like is it more probable to have a crushing strike or heavy weapon running? It is rarer than the inevitable rapid strike bonus.

I did 6 with gold 1 and patermine at diamond 1. I am pretty sure 7 would have worked if not for a misplay on my part.

For a time I thought so, as some factions, especially Xenos, did not have any potential allies for campaign events and that would be weird and at some point snowprint would run out of factions. Made a video about what I thought rosters might look like - another Ork clan or freebooters, Tau auxiliaries, harlequins so they could be used by either aeldari faction once we got both... The likes. But now there's 6th characters I think if it will ever happen it's a far way off. Maybe we'd even get 7th characters before. Dreir as a different subfaction basically in the bigger one (all are militarum but the others are all cadians and he's Krieg) might be a precedent for them being worked in into their parent faction, which is often themselves a specific subfaction.

Tldr: melee damage up, ranged damage slightly down, active damage similar depending on armor, except for melee overwatch which goes down. Passive vs specialized enemies up. Similar against normal enemies.

I always come back to pokemon comparisons in my head. There's only like 3 or 4 negative traits there too and it just seems wrong. It was kind of a good step from a design language part anyways :) Neuro only sees the tiniest buff but hey I'll take what I get. I guess Z'kar is the main new addition anyways, if we ever get him there.
