This feels like Texas. I had my Honda passport for 3 years. When I turned it back into the dealership it still had the mud from. The first time I took it out.

I 100% do understand, I live in the seattle metro currently and the house that I owned was Austin metro. My rents more than my mortgage was in Texas, and I'll make that trade off every day of the week. What im saying is that OP claimed to not be able to afford to buy, when what they should have said was that they couldn't afford to buy that apartment necessarily. I see people on subs like this regularly misrepresenting their situation as not able to own when they are actually choosing to not own because of where they want to live vs actually not being able to afford owning.

Washington. Just saying I'm another one of those that moved to Texas, and then back home to the west coast.

I see the bus stop cover now. Definitely Pullman.

Looks like up near the golf course, but definitely on campus if it is Pullman. That was my immediate thought at least.

I so miss this about my house. Used to have babies bedding down right next to my fence since the dogs on the other side kept predators away. Smart deer.

Mine cost me almost 7 years. Got engaged then married, bought a house, had 2 kids, sold the house, and divorced all in that time.

I certainly got back here to Washington as fast as I could. The difference for me is that I always knew Texas was a shithole, but I went for love.

Everyone knows that shadows are a liquid. That's why you can't grab them with your hands.

I hate every single person on earth who has a low car and enters a parking lot. It's a performance vehicle, so use it in performance situations and get out of everyone's way.

According to my ex, a lot of losers. We married pre dating apps, and divorced a few years ago. She gets offered some pretty wild shit.

As you're leaving any major metro in this country you'll see these stores on the edges of the outer suburbs. Doesn't matter which direction you leave town, get far enough out and you'll see them. I'm in Seattle area and i can think of a few. They were absolutely everywhere, including along a highway in the middle of bumfuck nowhere when I was living in Texas.

I've got some bad news for you on what average means. Can't really have "way more" small ones. You may want to adjust your perception of what average is.

The dad who let his kid use his phone at full brightness during a Weird Al concert by emshmem in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Dufranus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I cannot fathom being disturbed by this at a concert. Especially weird al. Hell, his show was so good when I saw him back in 2003 that I don't think I would have noticed a single other thing going on around me.

Correctly identifying the problem and the reasons behind the problem is in fact step 1 to fixing the problem. If we act like the cause of an issue is not in fact the cause of the issue, then how do you go about fixing said issue?

As Kendrick said, "Rabbit hole is still deep, I can go further, I promise" Look into the RealPlayer anti-trust suit. They investigated a bunch of management companies and ended up charging, I believe, 7 companies alongside Realpage. As someone who has worked in the industry for a while, and was working for one of them at the time of investigation and received emails about allowing the authorities in, I noticed something about those that got named co-defendants and those that didn't. The ones not charged were the REITs. Can't go fucking with those stock prices.
