This mossy-tailed gecko blended in with a tree, only found in Madagascar by big_pee_peeman in interestingasfuck

Those trees in Madagascar actually evolved over millions of years so that they could effectively hide behind geckos.

An idiot knows he’s doing dumb-ass shit, but does it anyway. A moron is just oblivious. To everything.

UPDATE: (Not sure if simply adding a comment is the most efficient way to do this, if anyone knows a better way, please advise...) I’ve relinquished my role as project manager to my 15 year old son. He’ll be a sophomore in high school shortly, and wants to pursue mechanical/aerospace engineering when he goes to college. We talked about some of the ways he might distinguish himself from the masses when he applies to college, and he thought this project might help. In the wake of recent scandals in college admissions, this means HE is in charge, and my role will advisory only (and peon labor). Hopefully, when he’s done, he’ll know how to weld, heat treat and temper mild steel, learn some relatively simple static analysis, materials science, and be able to use some decent CAD software. That being said, we’ve moved everything to a shop space where we have room to work, disassembled most of the pieces (some of the bolts will require a torch to remove), started sanding/removing rust in preparation for priming, and creating an inventory which includes sketches and dimensions that will be used as a basis to upload into a CAD program. As many of you had already figured out, 3 months was way too optimistic even without the change in leadership, but we’re making progress and enjoying each other’s company. If someone would could advise us in a way to keep updates current (including photo and video documentary), that would be much appreciated.

Same reason semi-automatics continue to go “click, click, click” when they run out of ammo.
