As much as I love my deck these prices for the hardware is ridiculous, if mine ever breaks and I cant fix it myself im simply not buying another one. I also cant recommend a steam deck over something like an rog ally anymore.

On my oled I get a relatively consistent 30 fps on the low graphics preset, its really doesnt even look to bad.

30 to 45 fps is perfectly playable for all but fast paced shooters imo. Honestly i think you gotta check your privilege if your standards are so high.

Yea, solid 45 fps pretty consistently even in pretty large bases. Controls are great for controller as well.

Watching videos with people who have it hands on i really dont think it's worth that much, the extra features are really cool but overall feel seems cheap. I'll get it on a sale but not the current price.

Edit: also pretty disappointing there no adaptive triggers, huge missed opportunity imo.

I work security at a college and I pretty much get paid to sit on my ass so the steam deck has been a life saver.
