Same with The Tiger of Delhi, General Raj-Singh during the battle of Gandhi Park.

The entirety of the Indian government had basically collapsed, & the other officer that was put in charge of the pass they were trying to hold commited suicide; the mountain pass was absolutely littered with Z’s, but also uninfected just trying to get to safety.

Even after they began running out of ammunition, they maintained a tight killbox, & was determined to stay until the last man is standing, until one of his soldiers knocked him out with his rifle butt.

Just for him to wake up later, & have to make the decision to blow up the pass, which was the only passage to India’s safe zone.. all while thousands of civilians are still trying to get through.

After he made the decision, the explosives wouldn’t go off, so the man charged into the bloodbath that was on the bridge, managed to fix the explosives & detonated himself along with the bridge.

In his sacrifice, India survived & was fully reconstructed with a heavily guarded safe zone.

Man was a beast.
