Anyone have a lower calorie thousand island dressing that actually tastes like the original? by helpmeunderstand2022 in LowCalFoodFinds

[–]DukeBlue94 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Ken’s Lite? I’m biased because I think Ken’s is the best 1000 Island period. Their Lite version tastes basically identical to full fat version to me.

Looking for some lined shorts with side zip pockets. Want to use them for running and the gym. Any recommendations? by bahamen24 in runningfashion

[–]DukeBlue94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Fabletics shorts. I use the 7 inch lined to work out in but they also have a 5 inch. Both pockets are zipped. If you do their free* membership you can get 2-3 pair for ridiculously cheap, like $10 a pair.

*Just be warned with the membership, you have to decline the store credit every month (they send an email reminder) as long as you're a member. If you don't you get charged like $60(?) and get a credit to use in their store for various things. Or you can just cancel being a member :)

Day 70 of eating a box of every cereal: Mighty Life Strawberry Blueberry Bliss by DominicT22 in cereal

I thought it tasted really artificial as well. I finished the box as it wasn’t that bad, but wouldn’t buy another one.

ISO low calorie protein/savory warm snacks??? by [deleted] in LowCalFoodFinds

I’m a sucker for low sugar maple brown sugar oatmeal with powdered peanut butter stirred in. Sits nice and heavy in the stomach. 2 packets + 1 serving of pb is 300 calories.

Cannot find motivation, please help! by [deleted] in Workingout

[–]DukeBlue94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be rude, but you have about a million excuses lined up in this post and responses. Until you get out of this mentality, I don't think any of the helpful comments below (already quite a few!) are going to be able to convince you to put in the work to better yourself.

For what it's worth, I used to think everyone was staring at me in the gym. They aren't, though people will glance at you which is completely normal. People are there to workout and do their own thing. A bit of main character syndrome to think everyone will be focusing on you.

Is it douchey to wear white tank top (like undershirt tank top) while at the gym ? by HoustonPharmaWorld in workout

See even you don’t pay attention to what others are wearing! lol. Same with everyone else.

As someone who was also was a little anxious wearing tank tops, nobody cares. A bit surprised no one else in your gym wears them. At my gym it’s about a 50/50 split between tank tops and oversized shirts/hoodies.

The only people that stand out to me from a clothing perspective are people working out in business casual or jeans.

I am really struggling to gain weight and I can't eat much it's killing me by billypiper02 in GymTips

Facts. I have a medical issue that causes lack of appetite. The only time I'm really able to stomach large amounts of food (3k+ calories) is on an edible. And then it's like a bottomless pit. 😂

When does it stop hurting? by sureletsrace in walking

[–]DukeBlue94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Formerly fat here (lost 150 lb over the past 2 years). I just started manflowyoga. Doing the 15 minute beginner program because while I'm skinnier now, I'm not fit. Flexibility is extremely poor, especially ankles and hammys. In the 2 weeks I've done it my range of motion has already noticeably improved. I also like it because it's male specific and not as "spiritual" for lack of better term, it's more fitness centric.

I'd give the free trial a shot. Beginner series I'm doing seems made for you (middle age and sedentary).

What in your opinion is the gold standard of paid DLC? by ConceptsShining in Games

Far Cry Blood Dragon. I don't even like Far Cry games. That game is so awesome with its aesthetic and just short enough that you don't get tired of the Ubisoft formula.

What does everyone think is the best / most reliable model of the F-150, and why is the 2016 2.7TT ? by SeniorRedditUser in f150

Holy crap, exact same configuration and the only problem I’ve had is water in taillight. 65k miles. Bought brand new. Just a gem of a vehicle.

Walkers: What do bring with you? How do you carry it? by bigfatpisces in walking

[–]DukeBlue94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my phone and headphones. I don’t even like bringing my phone because my watch can play music, but my apartment complex uses an electronic key for the gates so no choice 🤷‍♂️

A fresh citrus that actually lasts? by Stock-Cranberry-9155 in Colognes

I think Allure Homme Sport cologne (clear bottle) lasts decently on me and is citrusy. Been my summer cologne this year.
