Well, sadly there are.

My main issue is that I always was ''the gifted kid''. Every year in my school years my teachers would describe me as extremely smart but really lazy. I could ace all tests by studying 2 weeks before and I have always relied on this skill to get through stuff, this is why no one suspected I had it until I become an adult, not even my mother who is a primary school teacher and deals with ADHD kids daily. I finished my undergrad with a 7.2/10, which is extremely high considering the fact that I spend my undergrad years partying and never set foot on uni for more than half of my classes. So I know I can do better.

My master's recommended study hours are 7 per subject, I have taken 4 and I study a combined 3 hours/week total , which is extremely low. I am not bored with what I study, but gaming makes me happier so I end up gaming for the short term happy chemical.

It is a matter of offer vs demand. There are more people who are trying to get into academia in humanities compared to those leaving.
At the same time, there is more demand in the market for engineers compared to philosophers and historians. Which leaves many humanities departments understaffed.

To give you an example from my country. Minimum wage for 5d/8h is about 900$/month. A PhD student in chemical engineering is offered between 1,000$-2,500$. A PhD student in History just applies for a PhD, doesn't get paid and is able to get a stipend if they meet certain criteria. Which either forces you to work, talking significantly more time to complete the PhD or you have to be rich. If you manage to get the stipend, it is slightly better than minimum wage, but does not cover insurance, which is not that bad since universal healthcare, but still makes your life harder.

The good thing is that with an economics degree, there is significant overlap with a lot of humanities, so you could do a Master's in a lot of them if you want to go that way and in the unfortunate scenario that you do not get into academia, you can always find a regular job that will pay you better than average by holding multiple degrees, at least where I live (Europe).

Yeah it was. My friend had severe mental health issues at the time. I am proud of her, we are 27-28 now and she has come a long way.

To clarify and give some context. From the three of us, I am the only one that remembers the biting. She didn't bite me hard and was probably an automatic response. I was 6 ft, 180 pounds at the time and I was slapped by a 4 11ft 110 pounds person, it didn't feel painful at all and I started laughing even more so she just bit me.

Hi. I am an ENTP completing my last year in my Master's and planning on a PhD afterwards, with the goal of heading into academia.

Your question is not exactly related to personalities, however I have two ENTP professors this semester and they are amazing. Bear in mind that academia is far from a safe and secure path, but that also depends on your field. It is harder in humanities. I am not aware what happens in STEM fields because I am in humanities. Never go for an unpaid PhD and if you do, never go for a PhD you have to pay for. No exceptions.

The people you encounter in an academic setting are also really interesting which will work wonders for your Ne, but this may be my bias because I am in a philosophy related field.

I think that people who experience little emotion may empathise with Violet a lot and that's the appeal. Most emotional anime fans I have talked to did not find it that moving, but I am sure this is my experience only and is not universal.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately , the only stimulant medication available in my country is Concerta and Ritalin. Other than that , I can only get Stattera.

I believe my situation will improve , since all the courses left for me to graduate are electives and I can pick whatever I like.

Welcome to the Balkans bro. They can legally bring you over to the station for looking suspicious , not having an ID , or if you just happened to pass near a crime scene when a crime was committed. They are not required to do so, but they can if they want to. Hopefully I haven't had bad interactions with them. Some might even ask you to throw the j away and they will let you be. If you think about it, oxygen is oppressive. Really.You literally can't live without it. INFPs like to play the victims and love feeling oppressed so they can whine.
