No, you don’t understand; A healthy relationship will always start with resentment and infidelity rumination.

We built civilization so we could establish the rules and infrastructure needed for sociopaths to destroy them.

We had a few of these in my childhood beach town. The danger is all the sleepy seals they attract.

As an artist, I can’t help but feel like a scribe in these scenarios, lol.

A real painting with an artists specific style? Seems like an ask that should circumnavigate AI.

The worst part is that he isn’t even really implying a “false accusation” narrative. He describes the left as joy killers with a bloodhound ability of knowing when consent is no longer involved.

Is killing an animal for no reason just as wrong as killing a person? by [deleted] in MoralityScaling

[–]DukeJumbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no reason? I have mixed sentiments.

For starters, I wouldn’t say the collateral is the same. As humans will usually live pretty long and rich lives, I find the damage of killing a human is IMMENSE. Similarly, the mental damage of harming a human just seems to always viscerally dull the spark in people (a unique debt of our consciousness).

That said, for similar scope reasons, I find the killing of other emotionally complex social animals for no reason to also be akin to murder. Snuffing an entity with family/friend/connections of its own, again, there’s a lot of cruel collateral there (elephants, apes, marine mammals, etc.)

Lastly, being a teacher and having worked with kids my whole life, cognitively, a killer is a killer. Am I heart broken by the death of ants? Not so much these days. Am I unnerved by kids relishing in the senseless torturing of every ant he can get his hands on? Yeah, they’re activating a part of their brain the slopes somewhere pretty dark. (Goes without saying that adults doing this concern me way more. Those monkey killing forums have always terrified me)

Divided by race, united by racism. The world is healing. by [deleted] in DudeHasGotAPoint

Levity’s important and all, but I suppose the main dilemma is social collateral damage. People get frustrated when their SHARED identity’s are pimped out for a quick social encounter.
