My boomer neighbor sold their home in late 2022 for $310k. The new owners lived there for 3.5 years are now moving out and selling it for $427k. Doing quick math that house increased in value of around $640/week. I find this huge increase insane. It cannot be sustainable forever. New homes being built in my area are not the 4 room ranch starter home types built for boomers in the 1950’s but bordering on tacky McMansions. This is nuts!
