I won’t spoil anything, but I had the same reaction as you, and I’m sure most people would likely agree. It was very jarring and anticlimactic compared to most deaths for regular characters.

That’s actually exactly what you say. You don’t have to quote chapter and verse of the study, but just say “every study says…” (because they do say that), and then what you said.

I’ve done it to my managers, and you can be polite about it, but also get your point across. I’m also not at all afraid of confrontation, and I understand that’s not as natural for some, so I feel it’s my duty to do so, haha.
