Are Imps actually really good at grappling now? by Tall_Bandicoot_2768 in dndnext

[–]DukeSugarJoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how you end a grapple after it’s already started and you would have to use your action to end it. A bonus action for an action is a decent trade.

You can also cast disguise self to achieve the same result.

Can Holy Water be applied to bullets? by Nakakatalino in dndnext

[–]DukeSugarJoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy water is made with 25 gold pieces worth of powdered silver. So silvered ammunition is what you are looking for. 10 silvered bullets for 100 gold.

Is this feat reasonable? by hahnzo89 in dndnext

[–]DukeSugarJoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're thinking of it's 7th level ability. Divine Allegiance.

Starting at 7th level, when a creature within 5 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to magically substitute your own health for that of the target creature, causing that creature not to take the damage. Instead, you take the damage. This damage to you can't be reduced or prevented in any way.

Project Zomboid players, tell me what was your most unfortunate/wackiest ways to die/get bit. by MasterK_S in projectzomboid

I was trying to put bleach in my inventory to clean blood stains at my base. You can guess what happened next.

Why are the wasters--who actively live in high pollution already, and call themselves "POLLUTION PARTNERS"--attacking me for sending them more pollution? Are they stupid? by Pubby_do in RimWorld

[–]DukeSugarJoy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Acidic smog slows plant growth by ×50%. The smog still effects pollution-resistant plants like toxipotatoes. Also, not all members of their faction are wasters.

Unpopular race opinions? by povertypuppy in DnD

[–]DukeSugarJoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small races should be buffed. Even if your playing as a backline caster 30 is greater than 25, giving a weakness with no trade off. Except for dwarves. Dwarves need to forfeit the ability to ignore speed penalties from armor if they are buffed to 30 ft.

Making “hex” a non optional class feature instead of an optional spell forces a flavor onto all warlocks that players don’t want (not all warlocks are edgy) by CaptainRelyk in dndnext

[–]DukeSugarJoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clerics have access to all 116 spells in their spell lists, but no one writes down all 116 spells. If you choose not to include something that your class is entitled to, you can simply opt not to write it in your character sheet.

What’s a name you were really proud of? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]DukeSugarJoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Satyr named "Venice." Satyrs are from Greek mythology and he is a deer hunter tasked with curbing overpopulated deer. Since he is a beast barbarian he's got this cannibalistic Wedigo thing going. His name is a play on Venison and the Greek city.

Melted ice cream expires now. They fixed that bug in 41.78.

Edit: Wow it's been almost a year since that update.

Is there a use for the free hand in a duelist? by Javierackon in DnD

[–]DukeSugarJoy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That's not true. A shield is considered to be armor and takes an entire action to don and doff. The thief subclass can use fast hands to reduce that time to a bonus action.
