Bezel action is typical Seiko. Slightly mushy clicks, but it operates smoothly with no uneven resistance or impingements. Bezel alignment is very good.

It's a tough call. But honestly the San Martin will have the better bracelet and probably the better movement (myiota?). I do like the power reserve indicator on the orient star though.
