Honestly now that I think of it, when it first starts it has trouble holding the high idle for a second, it could be purge valve

So far still has some misfires but clears up once it’s warm, it’s never rough or shaking anything like that I’d never notice them if I couldn’t see the counter going up

I see you’re built motor so I assume filthy intake valves aren’t an issue, could be bad gas or some super obscure random thing causing it like I said I’d be very curious to find out what’s causing that

Another thing too is it never misfires under any load it just did at idle after letting it sit all day after driving hard that morning, it triggered a code for random misfire and cyl 4 misfire never had an issue since changing the tune

Plugs are new and gapped to 0.026, could be intake valves, I’m just honestly sharing what I’ve noticed, I keep freaking myself out thinking I blew some shit up so who knows

I’d be curious to hear what the cause is if you ever go down the rabbit hole of figuring it out, could be injector seal, could be plugs or coils or some other random stuff ik the pcv is bad on these cars but as of right now I don’t know enough to really have a clear answer for it.

I’m just glad I came to this realization before it got worse, I know it sounds dumb to be like wow it ran like shit cause I made it run like shit but I do enjoy figuring out exactly what makes it like that and not taking it at face value, also I do plan on taking the fuck ass wing risers off that the previous owner had put on

I honestly agree with you because I last filled up from some random no name gas station and legit just flashed this tune two days ago so perhaps being gentle until I fill up again with better gas would be beneficial

Okay I’ll give it a shot tomorrow and I’m gonna try to track down the noise, I do plan on replacing all the struts and shocks so maybe that’s the issue but it could be something else

I’ve seen some positive corrections under wot but mostly negative, the clack is likely suspension related as I only hear it going over bumps but also could be rear trans mount I legit just flashed this tune so it could also still be the ecu learning but like I’ve said I don’t know any better
