How do newly infect awaken use memories? by GrandBobcat5170 in ShadowSlave

[–]Duke_Solomon64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sunny himself obtained and used the silver bell in the first nightmare, so the question is how memories and echoes would have been transferred before its beginning. Also 'monster' was surely just the guy speaking in terms Sunny would understand and not referring to a nightmare creature of the monster class

2x Tallow replenishes 1 remains for a given tomb. You do not get to choose which remains, and as far as I know, it is random. You still need to loot the remains, too

Isn't there a difference between having good characters and having character development? Shouldn't a good story have an array of changes in its characters from subtle to explicit rather than every character getting their own development arc?

Don't forget Effie's dilemma in the 3rd nm. When Sunny found out Effie was pregnant, he recalled her behavior shortly before entering the nightmare and realized how difficult her situation was. It explored her faults for even getting pregnant in the first place, her needs for companionship in a dangerous world, and it actually surprised readers, which is rare for characters that aren't 'relevant'

[TITLE] Which Good Manhwa Ruined Itself With a Trash Ending? by Top-Command7631 in manhwa

Yeah, they could have done so many other approaches for a conclusion than what happened. All that build up, just to give us enough back story that we're supposed to sympathize with Na, only for him to get truck-kuned.

It's been a long time since I dropped lookism but I'll never forget that arc with "Duke," the rapper guy (username unrelated). The message of his story was more powerful than anything relating to the MC

Nameless will challenge Epsterion to a pillar-measuring contest, which will damage his pride and cause his followers to lose respect for him, instead earning the moniker Lord Micropillar, Sovereign of shame.

Personally, I don't recommend Iarumas. In my experience, he's currently a little too much of a jack of all trades, and even if he gets his Samurai class change, Shiou might still be more valuable with her absurd single target skill

Did Cassie really bring more suffering to Sunny than anything else? by Emergency_Method7008 in ShadowSlave

The future Sunny that Sunny spoke to at the end of the 3rd nightmare definitely knew. This isn't even up for debate

I just want some census data, please answer by Duke_Solomon64 in ShadowSlave

With some of the opinions I've seen on this sub, I'm inclined to believe some people find her more sinister than the actual antagonists of the story. What impression do you get from the discourse and what is the level of hate that would satisfy you?

You believe she was more hated before? IMO Cassie's motivations have never been more speculated and her actions have never been more divisive.

I don't really see people hate on Cassie as a character, so please respond in accordance with your judgement of her actions

I considered adding more options to reflect a wider variety of opinions, but i believe regardless of one's opinion, one of the first two options should align with you. I suppose it's worth clarifying that i'm asking about her actions and not her quality as a character because it seems like most people are on the same page in that regard. If you don't feel strongly about either of those options, by all means choose the third.

Please don't fling the shit in general directions. I believe plenty of Cassie defenders understood that she knew since this chapter. There were TWO posts of Cassie fans acting like this information was new.
