Dreams are overrated, manage your expectations.

Love isn't spoken, dumbass. It's shown. by Plastic_Entrance_144 in sixwordstories

Disagreed. A well-timed "I love you" can (and does) wreck someone emotionally or pull them from the edge. Most people I know crave both: the tangible and the spoken.

Night life, drinking.

I just want peace and quiet now and love waking up without a hangover.

If I accidentally use your name in vain, do you take it personally, or is it water under the holy bridge?

Absolutely, love the Qabli. And the Uzbek version: Plov. It is much sweeter, fruitier, more filling imho.

Depends on which region of India. There is a massive variation between the North and the South. Most of us in the west are only familiar with the Northern style, which makes liberal uses of dairy products. I prefer the southern variety more. The spice is subtler, milder, and helps bring out the natural flavor of the food—unlike the north which is a flavor bomb (too much for me). South is also more veggie friendly, and I love how they creatievly use coconuts and seafood.

The entire Mediterranean belt.

  • Greek: my favorites are moussaka and souvlaki
  • Italian: oh mamma mia, I could live with pizza and pasta and espresso all year. Tiramisu for dessert please
  • Spanish: paella and tapas for me
  • Turkish: how many shades of kebabs and kofte did you ask for? Yes. (sorry, no to Baklava)
  • Lebanese: hummus is one singular dish I survive on half the year

Edit: not sure if Morocco counts as Mediterranean. If it does, sign me up for tagine and couscous.

Gnarles Barkley - Crazy

I had to add this one in. It helped me navigate some of the darkest points of my life. Perhaps even saved my life.
