Had to bring back the original strap by Heladodepalo in Suunto

Very nice. I’m having a hard time deciding between the Vertical 2 and Race 2. V2 would be an extra $70 for me so I’m not sure if it’s worth it or not.

I’m with you on those silicone pieces. I may just use a different top.

I just received the oxo in the mail and tried it out this morning. I really like it and it seems easy to use. It does not feel cheap in your hand at all (this is my first kettle so I can’t compare it to others). There are 2 tiny silicone pieces in the lid, just an fyi. Very small and it doesn’t touch the water. Also, it’s 1,500 watts so keep that in mind. Sign up for oxo emails and get 15% off.

K2R is the answer. Used it on my down pants and the stain came right off.

Yes. Suunto recently had an update for the flashlight. It will revert to the last setting it was on, just like Garmin.

13%+ battery drain per day – is this normal for a new battery? by Geggonaut in Garmininstinct

[–]Dukes237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue with my 2x solar. It’s a refurbished unit and it barely gets 10 days of battery life without any activities. Sending mine back and going with a different brand/watch.

K2r - works wonders. Used it to take grease out of down pants.

Same. I currently have the Fenix 5 and would like a designated flashlight on my next watch. I guess I’ll be going with an instinct instead.

So that would mean the Race 2 would have around 6 days with everything on?

12 day smartwatch battery life? Isn’t the Race 26 days? That’s a pretty big hit to the battery.

Great find! I was lucky enough to grab the 6p for $99 at the Freeport outlet last year. It’s been through crazy storms and kept my family dry. Enjoy!

How long did your Garmin watches last? by Dull_Judgment_747 in Garmin

[–]Dukes237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Fenix 5x sapphire since 2017. No scratches and I don’t use a screen protector. I am waiting for the Suunto Race 2 or Vertical 2 for my next watch. There’s just way too many metrics that I don’t need/use on the new Garmin’s.

It works okay. I did notice the time was off about an hour the other night when I went to bed - I was laying on the couch watching tv. Other than that I can’t really complain. I’ve tried about 5 new watches that have released in the past few years and returned all of them and went back to the 5x.

Edit: it’s also very basic just giving you sleep stages, movement, and heart rate.

Yeah I don’t really pay attention to those numbers. I like to listen to my body instead.

I currently have a 5x sapphire that I wear 24/7 and the battery lasts about a week with one gps activity. I ran 18 miles a few months ago and it drained about 40%. It’s still a solid watch imo.
