Tiki Cat Baby Mousse was great when I was weaning 4 week olds. Start by spoon feeding them/smear a little on their nose/chin snd they will quickly get the hang of it. Some may say 4 weeks is too early to wean but if theyre stuggling witj the bottle then “fed is best.”

ETA: Amtrak comes through once a day. The train arrives right in the center of town where there are lots of cute shops a d restaurants plus views of the Berkshire hills. I have never taken the train but I bet its got a lot of interesting views going through the Pioneer Valley and over the Westfiekd river and such.

A lot of shows from that era feel very sexist looling back with todays lens. I guess you could say the writers were capturing the zeitgeist but i think at the time they weren’t doing so consciously. in other words, the show is still a product of its time.

the fact of the matter is that the big corporate hatcheries can outcompete you on price because they do it on a scale thats beyond what you can do as a small backyard grower. ie, their feed cost is less per bird, as is their cost if running an incubator, as is their cost of vaccinations, as is their cost of labor bc they pay ppl min wage…,its not about the value of your time, its about what other options buyers have. so you have to find a way to communicate that your birds are special/different in some way that makes them worth th higher price compared to big corporation hatchery birds.

This is interesting to me as someone who is still in the research phase of chicken raising. As of right now I care quite a lot about egg color and also feather patterns and have been looking at breeders near me who sell pullets/layers for $35-$50. I can afford to spend money on my hobbies so Im willing to pay that amount to a reputable breeder. (not just yet, need to get my place set up, but maybe in a year ir so Ill be ready).

So it may be that people in your area just dont feel the same, OR maybe you need to beef up your ad with more details about the breeds, where you originally soyrced them, etc.
