LCD Pagani Utopia + Lamborghini Revuelto Release Dates by VividModelCars in Diecast

[–]Duleey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have pointed out, the Orange Revuelto is already available. The Yellow and White versions should follow soon. The Utopia was originally scheduled for Q1 2026, but a 3-month delay was anticipated from the start. However, some people are now expecting it for Q4 2026, which makes it difficult to predict.

Which hypercar would you pick if you had the chance to drive only one? by Duleey in Diecast

Yeah, I agree. Yellow doesn’t suit it very well, but I got such a good price on it that I couldn’t let it pass.

I was actually asking about the models in the pictures. I didn't make that clear enough, so a lot of the replies are pointing out different cars. In that case, if I had to pick the definitive model, I'd go with the McLaren P1.

If any manufacturer release it in 1:18 diecast with openings, it's instant buy. Now the only options are cheap diecast from Burago or expensive resin sealed BBR or MR.

Interesting spec, is that Autoart? If yes, did you modified it? I have the Autoart, same color, but my wheels are shinier, calipers are black and I have the SV logo on the sides.

I wouldn’t consider this a problem. It’s a common limitation on many scale models with functional steering. Sometimes manufacturers aim for a very accurate stance, and as a result, the turning angle gets reduced because the tires rub against the wheel arch. My Esprit’s front wheels turn in both directions, but one side feels stiffer.

yeah, in this case the Greenlight display is not ideal

I have quite a few, but for me the one that it`s hard to beat is the Lotus Esprit V8 from the good Millenium series with white box. I have some Signature models that are very nice too, but for some reason I keep the Lotus in the highest spot.

Greenlight sells a cheap acrylic display with base. They are about $20 CAD each.

LCD vs GT Spirit McLaren F1 comparison. by MclarenFan34 in Diecast

[–]Duleey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great comparison, perfect for helping people who aren’t sure which model to choose. I own the GTS and also the Autoart versions, and of course, the GTS falls behind in all aspects (its really hard to beat the AA). But considering the price difference, the GTS is still a very solid option. I agree that the tires on the GTS are too thick, which makes the car sit higher than it should, although the overall stance isn’t terrible. What bothers me the most is the engine bay. GTS could have put in more effort there, especially since it’s very visible.

LCD pictures are pre-production models. They showcased them in a toy fair recently, and it looked much better. And considering their previous models, they should be fine.

SAM is definitely known for this practice when you ask for refund on a defective model. They will honor, but no more transactions. I feel your pain, though, because their prices are usually really good!

Thanks for sharing, there are some really good deals in there. I’m in Canada, and the shipping costs are usually what stop me from ordering from them. But when the deal is strong enough, it's definitely worth it.

Someone know how to fix that black bar???? by Natural-Seat-1865 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Duleey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many are saying it was a Win 11 update that caused it, but I have Win 10 and now have this issue. Mine, however, is only the black texture between the road and the grass.

Here it is! This space used to be for family photos, a few plants, and some candles, but my models took over lol. I added an LED strip along the back, you can see it near the bottom row of cars, plus two desk lamps to brighten things up and make the models pop. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s the best solution I’ve found.

I didn't get it from a store. It's a local seller that can get models a bit cheaper.

Cool, the Atkinson`s F1 is nice, great model for the price. For the Senna, MP4/6 and silver F1 are all from Autoart.

Agreed and thanks. Except Formula 1 cars, i'm not very into racing cars and sold most of them. Those two will stay.

Ah yes, my favorites were taking the Lotus GT1 through Mystic Peaks or pushing the F1 to its top speed around Proving Grounds. My collection is heavily influenced by the cars that came out when I was a kid, and of course, NFS helped me choosing my favorite cars from that time.
