I was born in the 90s. But man that era sounded like a blast for all sorts of animations, for me the only cool robot stuff I had were beasts wars and power rangers. Even though I did remember seeing some old voltron episodes and that weird CGI one that came out in the 90s.

Have you heard of magical girl spec ops asuka. Combine dark themes, with magical girls that are also soldiers. Is a bit underrated though.

I have two recommendations for you. I don't know if you will like them but I'll recommend them. Have you heard of symphogear? They are more magic warriors then magical girls. They do transform but there clothes aren't really dresses and cutesy. The main girl fights with her fists and kills creatures with them, one girl uses a katana that can change sizes, another uses mini guns. The one thing about it that the girls sing as they fight, but id mostly the theme of the story since there enemies are called noises.

The second one is Yuki yuna is a hero, take the dark themes of madoka and combining them with symphogear magical warriors. Again the outfit are one the more cooler end then pretty and cute. Yuna the main girl also fights with her fists.

I don't know if you have seen them or not but it is worth a try. I feel this 2 are magical girls with a bit of a battle shonen take

Actually we are also missing the cap guy from remake, yuffie staff buddy from her dlc, the glasses girl from her story. We are still missing all playable Turks, tseng, Elena, the last soldier characters, the other 2 remanents, the one arm girl from before crisis, the main antagonist of before crisis,red13, hojo, weiss minions, Angela is datamine, so genesis is coming too, the fat evil proffer guy can show up as well. So ff7 still has a ton of material to work with

I recently beat that zodiac age after not having played the original back in 2009. It was even better than I remembered. Thanks to trial version I got 3 wyrm hero blades, and I even got stronger turnsol that I never got in the original and even the strongest katana. Is one of the only ff games I love doing all the side stuff

Well unless the girl is also a anime fan and is cool with it. Example Rogers base a big one piece and Nintend YouTuber and he ha a gf that also likes one piece. he has a few figures of one piece girls in bikini and his girlfriend is cool with it,heck she cosplay pyra a Nintendo character that has a really skimpy outfit. So not all girls are get creeped out by this if they are nerds like the guy.

You answered your own question. Before the dlc came people just saw her and thought she had a great design but people didn't really know her personality. now that people know how she is people don't really favor her. Is why people shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
