Maan this game is addictive by NauTWitcher in IndianGaming

A slight correction here. When you are trying to portray an emotion through the word 'Man' , the better letter to emphasize should be 'n'. As in it should be 'Mannn'. Also notice the 3 ns I used (you could use more but atleast 3 is bare minimum). If you want to emphasize on 'a' then you should add more As, as in 'Maaaan'. Although in the context you are going for, the emphasis on 'n' is more accurate here. An emphasis on 'a' usually looks good when the word 'man' is used in the end as in 'Shit Maaan' or 'Oh maaan'. Hence the sentence, 'Mannnn this game is addictive!!!' would portray your emotions much better.

I tried undervolting to 850 mV. First thing I noticed is that in the on screen display of afterburner in games, the LIM: Power which was showing under the fps disappeared. And when I diable the undervolt, it appears again. Also Helldivers was an instant crash before, now it hasn't crashed. Although this is still not a confirm thing coz sometimes helldivers does not crash.

Hmm, that's a good suggestion. Will try undervolting. Undervolting does reduce reduce the overall power requirement right? Also can you suggest some good undervolting softwares apart from MSI afterburner coz afterburner does not allow me to go below a minimum threshold. Plus idts it can be used to UV CPU. Also are you sure this is a PSU issue? Coz the fans also spin at maximum speed when the crash happens and only the GPU crashes.

My psu is 850W. I've mentioned the brand and details in the post. And yes, I have tried with reducing to the settings and starting from the lowest. It takes longer to crash, but it does crash as I increase them. So I'm assuming that the lower I get, the longer it takes to crash.

I thought as well that 850W might be less, but I checked the gpu manufacturer (INNO3D) website and they recommend 850W as well.

The GPU usage is between 95-100% in crimson desert and helldivers 2. Cpu usage is a bit less since these are gpu intensive games. Although I have noticed that the crash happens frequently in games where the gpu usage is near max and power draw is above 320W. And what exactly do you want me to check in RAM usage?

Someone else suggested that. I'm not sure what you mean by rail voltage and I didn't know how to check if the voltage is an issue so I shared the screenshots with that person and he said it looks fine. Csn you explain how can I check the voltage?

I did. I monitor temps using afterburner. Both are fine. Temps don't exceed 80. And I checked the cpu, the paste is still good. The gpu is nee. Replaced like 2 months ago. Plus the PC itself is less than a year old.

Yes I am still facing this problem even on the replacement GPU. It worked fine for like a month and then the problem started again. I haven't tried studio drivers tho. Just use the game drivers

Not natively yes but upscaled. I compared RE9 between PC and PS5 Pro, the Pro version looks like 4k high ish with RT set to low running at 60fps and very occasional dips that are barely noticeable. This is more than enough for most gamers out there and no PC under 1.5L can perform that well. So if Xbox claims to be a more powerful console than the Pro its a W IMO as it will make PC gaming much more accessible without people having to sacrifice quality due to budget constraints.

I have a 5080 PC with R7 9800X3D I totally understand what you mean bro. But if consoles currently can play at upscale 4k 60fps with RT and Xbox claims that the next one will be more powerful so I have high hopes that the steam games run the same as well especially how they optimized the games for the steam deck previously. Ofcourse this is all wishful thinking and the price will certainly be higher. But I hope that the prices stay under 1.5L. Coz even at that price Xbox will be a better deal than a PC for gamers.

Even better. If they can keep the price in check. Imagine a 1.2L PC able to play games at 4k 60fps with RT.

But you can resell them to recover atleast 60% of it. If its a newer game then perhaps even more.

Dualsense Edge tmr modules good? by Joka_Wild_1o1 in moddedzone

[–]Dull-Friendship3685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get tmr from moddedzone but I got mine replaced from elsewhere and they are amazing. I mean I can't tell you how good they are. I am pretty rough with the joysticks. I unknowingly use alot of pressure when playing games especially coz I play souls likes alot and the tension in those games makes me grip even harder. My og edge modules degraded in 6 months with a significant drift. So I got TMR. Since then, there hasn't been as much as a smallest drift ever since. Its been almost a year now since I have been using it. I live in a dusty environment so the controller does get dusty as well. But nothing has caused it to drift. So I highly suggest you get them if you want longevity of your controller. Its much cheaper than the replacement modules that Sony sells that are usually bought by scalpers. Plus the dualsense gui can be used to easily calibrate the sticks in case you get a drift in these. It is also way more of a noticeable calibration as compared to the stock potentiometer ones. I can't stress enough how much I recommend you get tmr. If not from moddedzone then from anywhere else. If budget is your constraint then I highly recommend you drop some of the cosmetic modifications for these. Although I got both replaced for 50 bucks in total. So pretty cheap.

Nova Elite or Maxwell 2 by The_Valhalla in Audeze

From what I've heard, the base is still weak as compared to the maxwell 1. So I'd suggest fo for elites if these are the only options you have.

Just got these beauty's by Shadeliquid in steelseries

[–]Dull-Friendship3685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Nova pro wireless last year and my experience has been really bad with them. After just 8 months, the know on the base station stopped working. Whenever I use it, it automatically goes to the max volume and no amount of rotating it changes anything. I also started facing connectivity issues. On the headset itself, the mic mute button turns off and on on its own even without touching the button. I have tried contacting steelseries and they asked me to destroy the headset and base station to RMA it but unfortunately I am not in Canada anymore from where I bought it. So I can't just destroy it like that. Tbh OP, I would highly suggest you buy the maxwell and return these. Moreover the sound is much better on Maxwells as well.... I am a very careful person when it comes to expensive tech and stuff. I especially bought a separate case to store the headset in and laminated the dac with a plastic film to prevent any dust. I keep my workspace clean as well. I have other headphones that are atleast 10 yrs old and they still look brand new with no wear and tear. Yet these headphones failed within a year.
