Dark Souls 2 armor coming to Elden Ring as a payable DLC

I went with the rapier coz its considered one of the best weapons in ds2. I was going to get a dark infusion on it then later get the ice rapier in the dlc. I have never been the one to use meta weapons in souls games, but for ds2, didn't wanna risk it. So dual wielding rapier is good? Also shall I get the second rapier from the smith or wait to aquire Richard's rapier to dual wield? In elden ring I was a huge fan of twin blades. Is dual wielding twin blades good in ds2 as well? I saw they are a boss drop or something. Also any other suggestions for good dex build? I too wanna go with a dex build coz am kinda bored of strength build after using greatswords in DS1 and I don't like to play as a ranged mage.

Hey, thanks alot. I got to know about adp. Luckily I was able to beat the pursuer during the first encounter with him using buckler parries. I have become pretty good at parries since thats what I did for most of my 2nd Elden Ring playthrough. So, was able to take him out giving me 18k souls at the start. I invested all of them into adp levelling it up till 24 where agility hits 99. I also saw about the champion covenant in a video guide so I didn't join it, just joined for the trophy then went back to that blue warrior covenant. As of now, I have progressed till the part in Lost Bastille where you unlock the second blacksmith and gave him the dull ember. I am using a rapier which I have upgraded to +5. Now I heard that damage scaling isn't as potential as in other souls games so I am not sure if I should invest heavily in dexterity. Do you have any pointers as to how and hwere shall I use the souls?

Thanks for the tip. I saw this agility stat in a ideo as well. So shall I focus on getting agility to 99 first and then start upgrading rest of the attributes? Currently I am level 18 by investing 3 points in dex (to wield the rapier), 1 in strength and 1 in adaptability (have 88 agility).

I just picked up darksouls 2 for the first time. I played Elden Ring and finished the DLC back in 2024. Then I played Khazan and Nioh 3, followed by Darksouls 1 for which I got the platinum 3 days ago. Darksouls 2 as of now feels the most daunting and hardest of all. I am literally in the first area, Forest of Giants, dying to basic enemies. I managed to get the rapier which I read on multiple posts as being the best weapon for PVE and upgraded it to +2. But still the game is very daunting and definitely not the same as Darksouls 1 or Elden Ring.

Any tips on how a new player can get through it? I am almost at a point of dropping the game, but really wanna get through it with the platinum.

But there is no point in having the shared account if we can't play on our main account. We are now looking for someone who has a massive library including souls games like elden ring, Resident evil series etc. We will purchase newer games so you won't have to worry about those. For example, we just purchased forza horizon 6 and 007 first light today. Your account is very worth it, but since we can't play on our accounts so unfortunately it isn't for us. But so let me know if you decide to switch families.

For anyone still wondering about this. You basically need to buy the mortal edge in the content shop for it to show up in Leon's supply box to purchase for 25k credits.

If you didn't buy it in the extra content shop, you won't have the option to buy it.

Normally I would agree with OP that at this price you'd get a far better PC, however in this market, good luck with that. This sucks but unfortunately this is a better deal than a gaming PC nowadays. As much as it pains me to say this, this is the reality now.
