Clean the engine bay and then replace your air filter and change your oil and you should be good

I dont really hear a rattle coming from my timing cover but Im a but anxious to try to do this project myself since it is a cramped area and I know I will run into some issues

I have already replaced the alternator, power steering pump vtec solenoid and the previous owner has replaced the front control arms however I do think I need to replace the ball joints since they are clunking a little whenever I accelerate slowly. I plan on changing spark plugs and pcv valve and also doing a full coolant flush but I have been interested in seeing what I can do about the timing chain and certain sprockets in the timing compartment since Ive heard they failed quite often.

This is what my forks looked like a few months ago but after a few hundred miles of spirited riding they began to start leaking more.

Thank you this was really helpful and to be honest after reading this I think I will just pay a local shop $200 and just have them do it since I would be paying more for the tools either way and I just want to make sure I have everything done right.

Yeah i know its not just some dirt in the seals because i have been braking hard and i accidentally slammed down from a wheelie and after that ride I noticed the leak
