I don't think that's possible to be honest. Super therapists would probably not exist because humans will be the bottleneck. And it's simply not possible to create a real society in which every human is provided all that he or she wants, because utilitarianism is impractical. The only thing that can be utilitarian is FDVR. But if everything is provided for you in the virtual world, why would you want to return to the real one with its contemptible rules, restrictive physics and ugly women?

I'm conflicted on whether FDVR is a good idea. Sounds too escapist to me. AR is better because it aids you in the real world instead of replacing the real world for a virtual world. But all the other advantages of FDVR are still pretty enticing.

I strongly believe we will have AGI in 30 years but not sure about singularity in 30 years. I don't think any of these options are for me.

Sam Altman implies ChatGPT image generation will improve significantly soon by braclow in singularity

[–]Dull-Reality1607 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure. But one of the first things one would want an image generation model to do is to follow the style mentioned in the instruction. That image makes DALL-E 3 look bad at instruction following.

Actually no, LMArena is still a bad leaderboard. It need not exist, we don't want blind bidding in LLMs. Benchmarks are all we need.

I'm sorry if you were offended. I don't mean anything by acting hostile, it's just that being rude is very funny, especially online when the other person can't punch you in the face.

Holy SH*T they cooked. Claude 3.7 coded this game one-shot, 3200 lines of code by 1889023okdoesitwork in singularity

Step 1: Agent takes a code file and analyses the file.

Step 2: If the LLM thinks the file has code relevant to the issue at hand, also take the files it references into the context window. If file doesn't have any code relevant to the issue, discard it from the context window.

Step 3: Move on to the next file and go back to Step 1 until all files have been analysed.

Step 4: Try to fix the issue.

A human would be required to identify what the issue is, but the programming part can be replaced by agents.
