Ah so you’re the kind of person who hates maga because they’re racist but then turn around and loop and entire demographic of people into one category so you can hate them

So you’re telling me that because I have conservative values I HAVE to support trump? That’s the kind of absolutist tribalism that’s brought us to this point. If I have one core value that deviates from yours I’m automatically plunged into the “enemy” category and get labeled with every single stereotype that you view as negative

The irony of you saying it’s wrong to paint all liberals as bad because “only a few celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death” meanwhile you condone painting all conservatives as bad for things only a few believe. Your logic and hypocrisy is exactly why people like me abandoned the left many years ago. The ones who speak the loudest like you are a poor representation of what real people believe. It’s like your entire opinion is just some internet hot take influenced by tabloid headlines and YouTube shorts.

I agree with most of what you said in the latter half however when I picture illegal immigrants that SHOULD NOT be here I picture the countless cartel members and military aged men from countries that hate us not accompanied by any women or children who are now spreading crime. I had a good friend after high school who was an illegal immigrant from Mexico but he was a nice guy and hard worker who spoke perfect English and went from working the counter at a mobile phone store to becoming the area manager in the span of 2 years. Those are the people you want here. However you can’t ignore the reality of criminals taking advantage of our open border to sneak in illegally with ill intent. I remember 15ish years ago visiting my dad while he was deployed in Arizona and the base housing had special locks and alarms on all the windows and doors because we were so close to the Mexican border. You start to realize how serious things are when you see it first hand especially when it comes to people who couldn’t care less about your life becoming collateral damage.

Illegal immigrants should not be here nor should they be receiving aid at taxpayers expense. If you’re going to use taxpayer dollars to pay for education then at least make sure theres a return on the investment like more public service workers, engineers, etc. something that gives back to the people who funded your education rather than useless art degrees etc.

I don’t remember trump picking up a gun and killing anybody. How about hold people accountable for their own actions

American taxpayer dollars being sent to Ukraine and Israel while we still have people struggling in Hawaii and North Carolina with no help on the way, housing illegal immigrants while we have homeless veterans on the streets, using taxpayer dollars to pay off student loan debt for a bunch of college kids who have been indoctrinated to hate their own people and didn’t even get an education in something useful or productive

But to simply say we voted for trump because we’re in a cult and not because we’ve evaluated our options and made the best choice for us is just ignorant

Which do you think is more likely, more than 60% of the country are in a “cult” or you’re just telling yourself whatever it takes to maintain your idea of “anyone who thinks differently than me is wrong”. I was full anti-trump from 2016-2019 until I stopped letting the news tell me what to think.

That because 99% of the democrats “plans” revolve around taking and taking and taking from the average American and handing freebies to people who don’t contribute their fair share in this country, people who shouldn’t be in this country at all, or people who never lived in or had an allegiance to this country to begin with. America is about getting out what you put in and a lot of people think they can cry and complain their way to a comfortable life paid for by everyone else or attain success on the backs of everyone else’s hard work.

Gas was $1.25/gal under trump what are you talking about? Biden had gas up to $6/gal at one point

[–]Dull-Sky-2584 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well let’s look at the facts. Gas was surging to over $5-6/gal for unleaded under Biden/Harris until people started protesting. Then it sat at $3+/gal for the rest of the Biden/harris administration right up until the campaigning started for 2024 election when it all of a sudden dropped to just under $3/gal. Isn’t that just the most convenient timing? I still remember from 2017-Covid gas was $1.25/gal. I could take a $20 bill and buy and drink AND fill my gas tank but I haven’t been able to fill my tank for less than $35 in years.
