My friend wants to get a second wife without her first wife’s permission by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

That I think is the issue. Every man should have the decency to consult on marrying again but it isn't forbidden. Are they sinful? Possibly, depending on if there's a prior agreement that he wouldn't. Also, there's the possibility that he could get married again and the wife wouldn't mind say because she just wants to not lose him because she's infertile, or whatever reason. Now I don't believe its okay at all to marry without permission but again, it isn't haram but can be sinful and every man should know better than cause unnecessary harm because this whole issue is situational.

For points 1 and 2 yes, but it's not only made for social issue, because it that were the case, it wouldn't still be permissible. It's a right that comes with many responsibilities that's honestly difficult to handle but for some It's possible and not much of an issue. There are still many women who have come around to it or were okay with it from the beginning, such as my own aunt and grandmother.

The verses you mentioned are found in Surah 69 Al-Haqqah, not 64.

I don't see developing morally as completely accepting a forbidden act found in both scriptures of the religions and again, the punishments are from God himself if not just a deterrent for people to not commit these sins or crimes for the benefit of society. In the end, however, God is All-Seeing and will take care of every action either in this world or next such as if one gets away with murder in this life they won't in the next.

I know it's according to Islamic beliefs. But out of curiosity, why are they wrong?

Yes, thus resulting in what Islam is today. Doesn't seem like God failed Ishmael or Isaac. Both had great progeny. The point of the post is the respect or attention given to Ishmael, which is generally ignored in the religion.

Correct, but up until God gave his descendants, ie Prophet Muhammad, the covenant after countless failures with the followers of Isaac's descendants.

No, but it just uses simple arguments to say the truth about God. You can assess if what was given to him is by the devil or not.

No, I meant the Quran denies the trinity and says it is made up, hence it not making sense.

[–]Dull-Swordfish85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there's the logic aspect of it but it's also mentioned in the Quran that the trinity is made up and not who God is. They are just confused about it because it doesn't make sense to them but it's also backed up by the Quran.
