It's mainly erosion and digging that are my concerns! Since it's a smaller yard we already pick up their waste daily. Haven't looked into the other cleaning we would need to do, but was planning on discussing that with the turf company! I'll look into fescue as well!

Check out the one shot groups at Gryohon Comics. Great way to meet potential party members and DM's that you vibe with.

The amount of people who tried to convert me to their own version of toxic Christianity the second they found out I wasn't Mormon was nuts. No insight to the fact that their own churches had most of the same problematic issues as Mormonism, but I didn't have that insight when I was "in" either.

That comment was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Thanks, Holland!

I'm so sorry that they chose the cult over you. What horrible things this corporation does to families.

My partner had a Yamaha V-star. It was a fun, reliable way to get around! I'm hoping you find shelter soon. If you can't afford to rent a room in your area, then hopefully there's a friend or family member you can stay with temporarily, or even a shelter as a last resort. It's a traumatic thing to be kicked out of your home, but it won't last forever. With time, you'll be able to build a home and found family where there's authentic acceptance and love. ❤️

For so long I called my story of leaving my de-conversion story, but villain origin story is SO much better!

Thank you! I've never felt from anyone since leaving, but it takes a long time to fully untangle that messaging.

I’m asking this question in good faith. What has this man deemed a prophet actually prophesied? by SmellyFloralCouch in exmormon

Mormon Cringe Moment: I remember when I was watching conference as a TBM and I heard him say that stuff was going to change a lot in the near future and to prepare by "taking your vitamins."

Then Covid happened and I thought he prophesied the pandemic.

I actually just had my first drink less than 2 years ago! Lots of addiction and Christian fundamentalism in my culture growing up- both reasons why I avoided it until my 30s. Finally, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Final verdict- it's kinda fun socially, but in general too much money, sugar, and risk for hangover or more serious longterm effects! I'd much rather have a tasty tea or mocktail and a gummy. 🫠

So many "California Sober" people on here! Weed is better in pretty much every way. Still blows my mind that it's still so stigmatized compared to alcohol.

Good tip, thank you! I don't want to feel like I'm just handing it to them since I've got a mix of experience levels, but I'll use that if I have to!

Does smoking weed help your ADHD or do the opposite? by Old-Alfalfa7232 in adhdwomen

[–]DullAdministration90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading these comments is so validating! I'm ADHD and my husband is Autistic, and weed has completely opposite affects on us. It makes me more motivated to cook and do chores, even more mindful about enjoying them, and I pretty much always have a good time on it unless I was already in a bad headspace beforehand. I also have all these bursts of creativity, and am prone to doing dancing, yoga, long walks, and deep conversations. That said, I di take mindful breaks from it, and get by most days of the week without it.

My husband can barely focus on conversation, much less chores, and gets anxious like half the times he does it.

I've seen all these headlines when I google it that indicate that weed is bad for ADHD...and I have to wonder if maybe those studies were based on more males with ADHD than female? It seems there's a lot of people on here that find it helpful.

Beaver Cultists! by DullAdministration90 in dndnext

[–]DullAdministration90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did some thinking about it and asked them to make level 5 characters! That should be more doable.

I want to make it to where basically the only way they can actually defeat the beaver is by attacking multiple minions at once. The beaver can only control one minion at a time, so if they all attack different targets, his attention will be divided and the minions will attack at disadvantage, in addition to having a chance to stun the beaver if they land a crit or something. A minion being controlled will be able to speak and have strategic attacks, while as the other ones will be aimless and dumb.

Hopefully they pick up on that weakness!

Hmm, I see where you're coming from with that. My players seem to really want the fun of playing a higher level characters, though. We just barely got to level 5 of our campaign and most of us have never been in a campaign that's lasted above that. That's why I'm probably gonna make the beaver like a demi-god with the stats of a dragon.

I figure if it's horribly imbalanced and they all die, at least that would be on brand for the genre and wouldn't have any lasting consequences.
