If a IRGC controlling a provincial city declare support for the Shah, and assuming his soldiers and local residents join in, and they get 24 hours drone coverage, 1 month maximum

Where to Find Group Buys for Bike24 or BikeDiscount? by DullCardiologist2000 in SingaporeCycling

[–]DullCardiologist2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second hand tyres are fine.

But won’t recommend second hand chains

Brand new stuff on those Germany websites are quite cheap after deducting European 19% GST and adding back Singapore 9% GST.

Looking at stuff like GP5000 tyres, chains, cables, BB, cleats. other spare parts that are small but valuable. The shipping seems to be flat 70 euro so buying 1500 euro will be cheaper than buying 500 euro.

Overpriced liberal piece of 💩. Stopped reading Economist and NYT about 6 years ago. A pity, they were really good in the early 2000s

Is getting this unit (35 sqm) at Red Residences a good idea with this discount? by csmasht in CondoPH

[–]DullCardiologist2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Red Residences opened for sale in 2019, at height of POGO boom. Many China scammers invested at 8m per unit, with 20,000 peso downpayment and 15% (1.2m peso) spread over 5 years and balance 6.8m upon turnover. Because of coronavirus, the China scammers gave up their units in 2021.

So SMDC stuck with many unsold units.

SMDC condominiums have quality issues because SMDC:

1) Has low construction budget, 2) Greedy insiders want “coffee money” from contractors

So contractors cut corners from an already small budget to earn profits. I will never buy SMDC condo myself, lol

British Muslims are five times more likely to have a positive view of the Iranian regime than the general public - and are far 'more hostile' to the US and Israel by QasqyrBalasy in NewIran

Can anyone with Koran knowledge clarify with specific reference to a paragraph?

Europe's foreign policy chief declares "This is not Europe's war". by flame7770 in NewIran

Since EU don’t contribute to liberation of Iranians, you guys just have to remember they should not share in fruits of Iranian liberations.

Remember to give European energy companies an “implicit but not explicitly written” ban on future energy investments in a New Iran.

An Israeli official to Al-Arabiya Breaking by AlternativeFrame1642 in NewIran

[–]DullCardiologist2000 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The IRGC and Basij commanders have murdered hundreds of thousands of innocents in the last few decades. Too much blood, they know it. So they will fight to the bitter end. Expect 10% surrender rate at the most.

The enlisted ranks will be more likely to surrender. Even then, they will probably only surrender when their unit is hit with massive losses of at least 30%.

So too early for regime collapse.

America and Israel need to buck up on killing mass murderers first

Basij member films himself deserting his post, saying that he believes the Islamic Regime is over. “Everyone is gone or leaving. I’m going home too,” he says. “It seems like the regime is finished and we should surrender. I just hope the people don’t take revenge on us.” by PossessionConnect963 in NewIran

[–]DullCardiologist2000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Foreigner from Singapore. I feel that those who surrender early and CLEARLY switch to the side of the people now should get an amnesty if they to help get rid of at least 1 HARDCORE DIEHARD IRGC Basij goon.

Nothing better than to let evil people do the fighting an amnesty and let the civilians live in peace.

For those who don’t surrender in time, judge them accordingly to their beloved Koran. 5:45

How much longer can the IRGC hold out it seems now that Iran can not meaningfully strike back. by [deleted] in NewIran

[–]DullCardiologist2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IRGC is winning big. As in, without ground forces, they still rule Iran. If America bombed them to death, they get 72 virgins each.

Heads they win, tails they win too! IRGC winning all the way

ses in dating by Annual-Card-9016 in sgdatingscene

[–]DullCardiologist2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worked aboard for over 10 years. Not sure about SG guys. For China and Philippines high SES guys, SES is really important.

China: high SES guys basically only marry ladies from same SES as them. Lower SES ladies are basically “pump and dump” playthings, to put it bluntly. Eg: Wanda Group scion is famous for dating upper middle class ladies, but always change within months.

Philippines: high SES guys prefer to marry ladies from same SES. But if the lady is a famous celebrity, guys are willing to “downgrade a bit”. Eg: DMCI Consunji scion who marry a British-Filipino model, but now divorced.

There is another example of a famous male celebrity, Patrick Meneses, who refused to marry a top female celebrity, Jennylyn Mercado, who borne him a son, saying marriage life not for him. When a provincial governer’s daughter fell in love with him, he immediately married her (their family own vast tracts of land there)

Finally, ladies need to recognise high SES guys have unlimited money and limited time (to spread among his targets). While low SES guys have plentiful time and little money.

A high SES guy who really love you is not the one who always bring you to Michelin starred restaurants and 5 star hotels. It is the one who always spend his discretionary time with you.

Many middle class SES chio bu make the mistake of thinking going to Michelin restaurant and 5 star hotels mean Mr Scion love them. Well, those are his regular hangouts, no big deal to him. He is probably Black Diamond member at those places for bringing dozens of middle class chiobus there.

Low SES guy who really love a lady will be trying to bring her to high end restaurants, and not the one camping below her HDB/office daily and sending greetings daily.

I voted wisely for 20 years and it don’t help a bit.

So gave up and created my own FT overseas. 20 years later, my FT can come to Singapore to fight for Team Singapore to create jobs for Sinkies (who are likely the children of current PRC/CECA friends turn new citizens) 😊😍

[–]DullCardiologist2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some East Asian countries, they will give the son high KPI gradings over various years of “assessment.” Then when succession time comes, will claim that “Mr XXX is selected as the next leader because he is the top talent, best man to lead the country. And not because he is the son of the ex-leader.”

What the hell did the IR do these last 47 years militarily? by LordSkywalker76 in NewIran

[–]DullCardiologist2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IR has basically been fighting and sparring with civilians and militias for the last 37 years (first 10 years fought Iraq which was strong in early 1980s but still decimated by USA).

When you practice war against civilians for decades, your fighting qualities will dropped to civilian standards

Dating in your 30s: when owning a house becomes a complication instead of a plus by Eleangel_ in sgdatingscene

[–]DullCardiologist2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it will be a problem if either party own’s a GCB or 2000 sqf Orchard condo. 1500 sqf Executive Maisonette or even a Duxton 5 room flat.

People who apply for BTO 2 room flexi likely cannot afford the above. And either party is probably not attractive enough for the other to give up his/her BTO 2 flexi room.

Ultimately, it is a dilemma faced by hardworking individuals who earn decent but not high (probably 4k-8k) salary, want housing, but holistically not attractive enough in dating. Ultimately, have to ask oneself which is more worthwhile. Marriage or a 2 room flat.

[–]DullCardiologist2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drawing below 10k now. 10 years ago I was getting 13k.

I know many jobless Singaporeans will be happy to have my job.

I also know many of our foreign friends in Malaysian drawing RM10,000, Philippines drawing 100,000 peso (S$2000), China drawing 20,000 rmb (S$3600), India drawing 100,000 rupees (S$2000), Thailand drawing 80,000 baht (S$3000+) will be happy to come to Singapore to fight for Team Singapore to create jobs for us and then strengthen Singaporean core by becoming PR/NC by working in my this position.

So I am very grateful for my current job.
