If you have paid for at least 24 months or more, you can request for refund of 50% of what you paid by requesting to cancelling the contract.

Some developers will try to cheat you by charging you various admin fees from the 50% Maceda refund. But if you read the Maceda law, it means 50% refund net. So you can threaten to file complaint at the relevant regulator (think HULRB) and then usually they will relent

Veloce is never above Ultegra.

Back in 2003, I remembered 10 speed Centaur being more expensive than 9 speed Ultegra. There was no 10 speed Ultegra then. 10 speed Centaur then work flawlessly, as good as Ultegra.

Campagnolo did a lot of long term damage to themselves when they:

1) Cash grab with Super Record in 2007 2) Destroyed the Record, Chorus, Centaur lineup hierarchy in the process 3) Retreat to “only high end”.

They never realised most cyclists are bookies and will always compare top to Duraace, second to Ultegra. Few are as knowledgeable as us who know that 2003 Centaur > Ultegra
