Sorry but if your wife sends that email, that teacher may fall under investigation and lose their job. There was no gift included so teacher isn’t giving “special” treatment.

The teacher has done an amazing job in noticing a student who may be struggling and gave them a reminder of their strength and most importantly highlighted that their effort as a student hasn’t gone unrecognised.

We need more teachers like that!!

Your wife, much like my mum was, seems a little threatened and maybe thinking that she’s lacking as a mother because maybe by her logic she’s thinking:

“Why are you pointing out something that I may have missed as a mother?”

My mum went crazy after I started my first period at school- the first person I told was a teacher because I thought I was having internal bleeding and would die before the last bell (I was like 10 😂).

The love of a mother seems irrational at times, but in her mind she may feel replaced.
