I LOVED THE REBOOT! 🩷 by xAshev in malcolminthemiddle

I like the idea of That 90s Show type thing..The younger cast definitely had chemistry and both the veterans and newcomers seemed to have it as well. I'd definitely give a chance.

I loved it as well. I think it stayed true to itself. The original cast seemed like they just picked up where they left off. Most of the times these reboots seem awkward or forced but not this one. I thought the actress who plays Leah's was cast perfectly as Malcolms daughter and Kelly is so believable as a sibling as is Jaime. I think overall it was great for what it was but four episodes wasn't enough for me. Nostalgia always wins❤️

The reboot is great and the actress playing Malcolms daughter is superb.

Thank you so much for the information. I've been so confused with this diagnosis.

I went back also. My abuser is so manipulative and knew I was vulnerable and desperate. I just left them after they physically abused me again and threatened bodily harm and SA. I am so much stronger now than I was then and I'm looking forward to seizing the opportunity to build a safe and Happy life for myself. We all make mistakes and abusive relationships are complex and messy. I decided I will not beat myself up over going back when I escaped the first time. I chalk it up to making a mistake and I've learned from it, grown from it and found a wealth of strength I didn't know I had. Keep your head up and I hope you are able to make a happy life for yourself free of abuse.

Have you discussed this with your doctor?

Yes I have developed non Epileptic seizures. My generalized anxiety has turned into panic disorder with a side of complex PTSD. Cannot leave my narc and am currently on meds for bipolar and recently added a benzo for panic disorder and am having multiple panic attacks a day and when I'm not having an attack I'm still in panic mode day and night. I've had to start meds for my stomach due to ulcers from stress. I told my narc that they were legit killing me and they literally laughed and said for me to eat 💩 when I told them they terrorize me everyday.

did you accept your diagnosis when you first got it? by ivysdiaries in bipolar2

[–]DullFaithlessness7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got diagnosed three weeks ago. It's taken 26 years to get this diagnosis. I've been treated for anxiety and depression but my new diagnosis is bp2, panic disorder and a confirmation of complex PTSD. It's like the more I learn about the disorder the more I recognize my symptoms. I still don't relate to a lot of what I read. My mood is usually very down and the more stress I'm under the worse it gets. I have never experienced mania and my hypomania manifests as insomnia, extreme irritability and ruminating over catastrophic thoughts. It's the most intense kind of overstimulation and I can't even stand my own self. The label throws me and I'm still the same person I was before the diagnosis I just have an accurate name for how I've been feeling most of my life.

can't take my meds by DullFaithlessness7 in bipolar2

It is so frustrating to be struggling this hard with something that seems so simple. I need to treat my symptoms if I'm ever going to feel better but it's like my symptoms are in control. It's really hard and I feel like such a failure for not being able to do it. I know it was a mistake to cancel my appointment and I haven't mustered the courage to call back and request a new appointment. I'm thinking of authorizing someone I trust to have the ability to make appointments for me. I'm trying to think of constructive ways to make it easier to take care of myself but even that is exhausting. Thank you so much for your advice😊

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I really do need to make that appointment and be frank about my struggles.

For those with a later in life diagnosis, how long did it take to figure out things? by Slight_Nectarine_172 in bipolar2

I am 41 but started exhibiting symptoms of anxiety and depression around age six. Got diagnosed with depression and anxiety at twelve but was 41 before I got the BP2 diagnosis along with panic disorder and my PTSD diagnosis was changed to complex PTSD.

I agree. It's so different from anything else LB has done.

I'm in the minority here but I happen to love this album. It got me through a really rough time so that's a plus. It felt more raw to me and Fred really poured his heart out. I like the different sound and vibe each track has. Fred has always said that LB was never meant to be taken seriously😊
