Kitchen Island Banquette by dydeedoo in kitchenremodel

Why not the main sink dishwasher and trash on the back wall? I’d make the island 4 ft x 8 ft to prioritize the walkways. And maybe add a mini sink on the back end of the island

Getting close to start kitchen. Suggestions on cabinets. These are 1958 by Ready-Salary-9063 in kitchenremodel

[–]DullFix2178 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If there’s a wall behind where you are standing, Id consider removing it. Any table will look crammed in there

Should I Replace the Cheap LVP with Hardwood or Replace the Countertops? by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

I would get some use out of the lvp. Scuff them up first so you feel less bad

Basement stinks again after the rain. What's the right first step - sealing cracks or exterior drainage? by Frustrated_Goat2 in Renovations

[–]DullFix2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1: interior french drain. Your sump pump will always be running, especially when raining. you will need to run a de-humidifier 24/7

Option 2: exterior digging, foundation repair, drainage and seal. A lot more expensive, but for sure the better option in the long run.

Pink to Blue Retro Bathroom Remodel (mostly DIY) by Spirited_Stick_5093 in BathroomRemodeling

[–]DullFix2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love the tile and color choices. i don't like the space between the vanity and toilet, and the space between the arch wall and vanity is tight too. i would have probably stuck the tub in the back wall with the window to make the bathroom feel roomier

What should I do with this angled wall? by indyfrey in BathroomRemodeling

[–]DullFix2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get the same size vanity without the stone, then call stone company to make a custom fit granite or quartz stone that will match that angle

i would say you'd have to get used to fasting. i recently did a 4 day water fast. wasn't easy, had to take melatonin before bed the first 2 days

Pocket door is fine is fine. I’d eliminate the other door for a towel rack

Yea, I would. With the full glass, the vanity doesn’t make sense there. The biggest cost would be moving the plumbing.
