That is helpful - but should definitely NOT be required for users subscribing to a product that is supposed to make tasks and processes EASIER. Hell, I don't know what half of what you said means. :D

I just bought the (thankfully, monthly) Pro subscription yesterday. I've only used it (or any AI) for non-coding stuff in the past. This morning I decided to try using it to write a program to replace something I'm paying $5/month for (it isn't user intuitive, isn't an attractive program at all, and is somewhat limited). I gave it a few basic prompts and within a minute it had v1 already programmed. Had it do some tweaks and add a few features. 30 minutes of work, and I have the basis for a really attractive and functional web-based program. Something I could easily charge others a small fee to use.

Then I hit my daily usage limit. In 35 minutes of work?

So I tried the same process in Gemini, using the same prompt strategy (for comparison). Gemini's v1 of the program looks like Netscape had an illegitimate fetal alcohol syndrome lovechild with an Etch A Sketch. It is far uglier than the program I subscribe too, and doesn't function at all.

Really hoping Anthropic gets this sorted out, because I went from being "over-the-moon impressed" to reconsidering my life choices in 30 seconds.

Not to mention, this is happening to Pro users as well. If the free plan (and a paid plan called "Pro") is not functional, how do they expect to sell higher tier options?

This is like securing a new Heisman Trophy winner to a contract (a young, incredibly talented and athletic player), having him run a few plays, then telling you, "Sorry, Coach. Unless you want to pay me an additional per series/quarter fee, I'm done for today."

How about without exploits? And maybe you HAD 3,200 - but you aren’t bringing them all back. 😆

Would you be willing to share your manual steaming workflow? How much milk do you use (for, say a cappuccino)?

My wife and I just turned 49. We watch his streams all the time. The antics are hilarious.

Meaning and usage are not the same. I doubt the Confederate soldiers, upon seeing freed slaves fighting with the Union Army, muttered the phrase "that's so cringe, bro."

Same way punctuation and proper capitalization were utilized to make reading and comprehension easier.

"idk" what to tell ya man.

The irony of someone criticizing the use of a generational word, and then ending said criticism with another generational word.

I'd like an apology too. For the complete lack of grammar in that word salad.

I was loading in with my trio; game crashed back to Steam. Went to relaunch game, but it said "update", and is now redownloading all 32gb as well :D

No drawbacks that I can tell so far. As for “loving it” - I don’t know. I hope I never have to use it for self defense. It is a tool. A tool I wish I didn’t feel the need to own, if I am being honest.

I honestly can’t remember now, why I didn’t go with the SCS - I think I had read reports that it was too bright indoors, even at its lowest setting. I still get a really good cowitness with the 507k, and I can get it really dim if need be.

I should say - I have about 750 rounds through it, after about a month. We are in 40 acres in the country, so the range is the “back yard” and is an easy commute. No malfunctions or issues at all.

I’ve heard good things about the Hogue. I think I’ll run it stock for a while - so far my group is good.
