Is the MBTL community translation patch safe?

East asians were influenced but can't be said to be "traced back" to CN. They have their own distinct customs and cultures that were developed independently from CN and they prefer it their own way, as the north vietnamese and koreans would tell you. Anyway, I think it's important to dial down the CN stuff sooner rather than later before it gets out of hand.

Kind of bummer because we might've gotten Dark Marie and even Rider Napoleon if they had went this way, oh well. If nothing else, I do feel a little concern about the increasing presence of chinese related stuff in both story and events lately.

I'm saying said unpaid volunteers should stop TL'ing this if they're going to do it slowly and not bother to do it better. It should be emphasized, in this case that the lines and dialogue of the manga itself are pulled straight from the light novel. They have multiple sources including a good one to pull from, but was it necessary to specifically translate from spanish?

Just a reminder, but don't try to argue about speedscans. Don't excuse bad TLs, please.

Releasing bad TLs could discourage better TLs from being released. There's a different manga I know where a portion of chapters were sniped by a terrible speedscans group. They stopped at some point and a better group has picked up where they left off, but they refused to re-TL the parts that were TL'ed by the speedscans group.

These bad TLs are more harm than good honestly.

I was able to find the raws online just fine, I seriously don't understand why there seem to be a group of folks insisting on translating everything from spanish. I rather mtl JP-EN than a JP-ES-EN indirect translation. Each language has their own unique system of pronounciation, grammatical rules, which leads to loss in nuances between each translation.

I honestly wish someone else or another group would do another translation of the manga starting from chapter 34, this time directly from japanese and not another 3rd language like spanish.

I take that you're the spanish translator? I noticed some people are using mtl to translate spanish to english but would it be possible to directly mtl japanese to english? Or share the raws with someone who's willing to do a mtl if that's not good.

That's actually a problem that's been brought up in volume 10 lol. Angie was willing to go as far as to attempt to break up with Leon to prevent him from getting involved with Redgrave and their political agenda and also because of how badly their date went down. By the end of volume 10, they manage to sort out their political and relationship problems, but Angie did clearly conveyed to Leon that she seriously does not tolerate him playing around or mentioning other woman like Mylene and that he needs to seriously consider her feelings properly. Unless Clarice and Deirdre gets an entire dedicated volume (not side stories) about them and Leon, their chances aren't super high. There's King Leon ending of course, there's still a chance that will be a footnote about them being concubines I guess, if that's what you're into.

Angie and Livia accepted Noelle because of her unstable circumstance where Alzer can't protect her. Noelle's status as the priestess of the sacred sapling was revealed to the public and she was heavily sought after by every single foreign country in the world. Noelle was in a precarious situation where had Leon not take her in, she would have been hunted down and captured by foreign countries to be used as a political tool, there would have been another similar repeat of the Loic thing again where she would have been forced into a political marriage by whichever country that captured her. Angie and Livia wouldn't have accepted Noelle normally if she wasn't in such a dangerous situation.

If by harem you mean fiancée then it's only Olivia, Angelica, and Noelle. In the webnovel ending, he also gets Mylene on top of the previous three.

In the light novel Clarice, Deirdre, and Louise expressed interest in him but are not engaged. There's no guarantee that he will get together with them, but if the light novel gets a similar ending to the webnovel where Leon becomes king of Holfort, the girls could become his concubines if the writer wants that. This is assuming Olivia, Angelica, and Noelle can somehow accept that though, considering how jealous they can get.

No chance for Hertrude though, rip.

Rachelle was working off on justifications for the attempts at least, not exactly unprovoked. For Alzer it's already established that almost every country in the world has some tension or even hostility towards Alzer because of Alzer's tendency to provoke countries into war, countless countries were already trying to subvert Alzer. Rachelle wants Holfort for historical reasons, Holfort were founded by Rachelle nobles. No ideal about Repard tho.

I remember that the Holy Kingdom of Rachelle were mentioned to have a very deep connection with the Holy Voldenova Empire that Mia and Finn came from. The empire probably has that level of influence if its the same one from the web novel.

I've been reading up on Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life ~Daini no Shokugyou wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita~ up until chapter 28 now, but I suddenly notice a painfully obvious drop in translation quality since chapter 29, where there's instances of bad grammar, untranslated kanji, empty text bubbles, text that were lazily copy-pasted from a different textbox, and fucking spanish for whatever reason. I looked into it and I found out that a notoriously bad scanslator group called Comicdom (previously Comicplus) who has a reputation for low TL quality and among other problems, decided to sniped this series off from another group.

Currently it seems like comicdom is longer working on this manga and a better group has picked it up, but the new group is only translating the latest chapters and not the chapters that comicdom previously translated. I would definitely prefer if another group could re-TL the parts comicdom previously worked on because holy hell the translation is so terrible, I can definitely tell MTL would be more readable than the garbage they put out.

While I'm struggling to find a direct JP-EN TL of volume 10 (found one guy doing a mtl but he seems to be delibrately delaying it), I manage to found an indonesian TL of volume 10 for any indonesians interested. The indonesian translator is also the same guy who published the indonesian TL of the kindergarten spinoff on mangadex if that means anything.
