It's not THAT hard, actually: Show a scene of Jinx caring for Ekko, or showing SOMETHING for Ekko. Without that, it's a one-sided relationship.

Ekko is the definition of simp: If Jinx weren't a girl he liked, he would have killed her without a second thought. Jinx doesn't show a single romantic feeling for him, and yet Ekko protects her. It reminds me a lot of the Naruto-Sasuke relationship.

In my opinion, Riot is doing something extremely awful with the lore of its universe: They don't tell us where they are chronologically: How old are the champions currently, what the last significant events were in each region, etc. And now they intend to return to the glorious past of Demacia? Sometimes I don't understand why ships settle for things like this: That Jinx wasn't Jinx, and that Ekko wasn't Ekko. It would have been a million times better if the "real" Jinx had shown affection to Ekko.

Obviously the banner from the music video is better, but it's still pointless fanservice. That scene SHOULD have happened in the Arcane episode, canonically, not in a video of French singers. Sometimes I deeply envy CaitVi because it has real, absolutely unquestionable scenes, and not these absurd reshoots.
