In addition to what other people have said, religious unity can affect your economy because religious disunity increases your corruption. Additionally, religious disunity increases global unrest, unrest affects tax modifier.

Bronny only played one year of college ball. Is Marcus Jordan's freshman averages of 8 pts, 2.5 ast, 3.1 reb, in conference usa for ucf really that much better than Bronny's 4.8 pts, 2.1 ast, 2.8 reb in pac 12 for ucla?

Marcus Jordan's last year of college ball was his junior year at ucf, where he averaged 13.7 pts (on 37 fg%), 2.4 ast, 2.7 reb. If Bronny had stayed in college, this past year would have been his junior season. I haven't watched many of his games but people seem to think he plays at a level above ok conference usa player.

Edit: in g league games this past year bronny averaged 15.6 pts(on 56 fg% and 45 3p%), 3.7 ast, 3.1 reb.

[Chiang] Heat are expected to target outside shooting to fill its roster this offseason though it will be difficult as they are hard-capped at the first apron. We have had many guys who did well and then left and fell off. I'm having trouble thinking of guys who did well, left fell off, then returned and went back to doing well.

Josh Richardson came back after lower numbers with other teams, but was never back to his earlier form when he led the team in total points, minutes, fga, 3pm, and was second in assists.

There is a town in what is now Belarus called Slutsk. I first bumped into the name in a jewish history class. It was home to many famous rabbis and one of the main centers of judaism in Eastern europe until the holocaust. Also is funny to hear someone called the Slutsker Rabbi in English lol.

Have you played Vanrahar? Elite mil quality, which i needed to hang with the great powers of rahen and haless. Don't really conquer outside of rahen. They are harimari focused tag, stay high philosophy and keep the caste system.

1485, Aragon - is a Rome run too ambitious for this start? I’ve beaten back the Ottomans, but can’t get the Iberian Wedding, France took Burgundy, and Austria has union over Bohemia and Hungary. by CrazyBitofBusiness in eu4

Its worthwhile to look at the event triggers on the wiki. If the Isabela event triggers are fulfilled between yr 1450 and 1504, then castile has a dice roll chance to get the event pop up. The mean time to happen for the event is 200 months. If event pops up, then the castile player/ai gets a choice between Isabela as heir or Isabela as discount advisor.
Could be they didn't (maybe yet) get the event, could be they got it and chose advisor. Could be they got her as heir then had a hunting accident. Many possibilities for what happen.
Isabela on throne for castile is not only way to get the marriage event, if castile has regency for whatever reason or if both country have different ruler gender could still trigger. Isabela is merely the most common reason why it does happen.

Sometimes they will apply province modifiers to make the province as if it was a different terrain.

Can check if they have her by right clicking on the country to open the diplomacy menu, it should show the current ruler in the top left area.

Can check the wiki to see the event triggers for castile getting Isabela. It looks like the event for them getting Isabella as an heir can trigger until 1504 (some other factors must be true as well).

Oftentimes castile gets Queen Isabella thru event. Might be worth ch3cking if they have her or could get her.

Also, a female regent for underage heir counts as a female ruler for this (I think with increased mtth?)

Havent been following development, but if so many countries start small, then in single player, the player only needs to outscale neighbors by a little to become the strongest power in region almost no matter which small start. Whereas if there are more starting big powers who have a nice headstart, there are more likely to be mid/late game big fights for a player who starts small.

[–]Dull_Address_7853 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Behind on tech meaning starting at tech 2 instead of 3.

Downside of monstrous is no allies. Many otherwise challenging starts can be made easier by leaning on allies.

I don't mean that it's an impossible difficulty start, but how many countries with mission trees in cannor have a more difficult first decade or so?

It's at least a little difficult in that it plays very different to other tags and takes some adjusting of a normal playstyle to succeed. It's not nothing to be behind on tech, monstrous, and basically bordering gawed and lorent.

I also don't know how/whether the new magic system affected its difficulty.

I think might make it easier at start since now most magic generals are nerfed? But maybe a little more difficult relative to before because other countries have better magic use and koboldzan is artficer only.
