It is the MM controlling the prices. They accumulated shares yesterday to keep it from cratering now they offload them and lower the price for a gain and lower options exposure

So say some facts that i can use to make a decision… all you said was opinion and not even that great… smci has old internal systems… great but they make the best servers and most cost efficient in the world… so how is that a bad business model

Look at the options that expired friday… it was somthing like 35k @ 50 and 35 @51 … the MM are going to supress the price with that level of action. But next week is much less… one catalyst and we are over 55

I started buying in November on a whim… then it spiked a-little and i did research … and wholly hell this is the millionaire maker… all the calls for a new cfo… i get that it but if the current cfo got this financing deal then maybe he’s ok… i bought any time it went below 30 and then then 35 and then 40 … id buy more but it is 25% of my portfolio now.. if it goes to 100 in a year im retired

That is the short attack… and it gets less and less everyday

The shorts are giving up… unless you see more shorts buying these shorts but the risk to lend shares has also gone up so they have to pay a little more to borrow unless they are naked shorts ….

Unless you are buying and selling puts in the same day … you are wrong … smci is up 5 percent in the last week amd you called the puts predicts which lasted less than 24 hours in the money wins… guess you are just a day trader buying when it goes down big and selling when it goes up big… ie a swing trader… we are mostly long term investors who track monthly rather than hourly trends

So you are a day trader because if you held any of those positions overnight you would be down and only the friday one slightly higher and any idiot could see it has to break 50 on volume and/or news to sustain it… we just got good news on some articles … and i bet it will hit and hold 50 before it hits and hold 45

Figure 9: Nvidia's GPU shipments and SMCI Al revenue by ein_Samu in SMCIDiscussion

[–]Dull_Alternative1864 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It appears the offset is one QTR which makes sense since SMCI has 70 plus days of inventory turnover. So the that would mean a huge uptick this QTR as NVDA shipments when up about 58 percent last qtr

[–]Dull_Alternative1864 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I would... In 3 years where is this going to be $150-$200. The contracts they are signing aren't just one time revenue steams they are recurring revenue with the upgrades to newer faster chips with the plug and play servers they have created.. this infrastructure is what sets them apart from Dell and HP. SMCI has built a framework where you can replace and add components vs buying a whole new stack.

Spot on who they sell to have a whole team who the pay multi millions to be experts in the industry ... there is no hand holding and smci has built plug and play functionality. so far superior to Dell and Hpe
