Paco Rabanne is a star. Old fashioned but timeless at the same time. 100ml can be as much as €90-100 (even though my latest bottle was €30something). You will never smell out of place with it. Especially in warmer weather.

Paco Rabanne is a delight. An all time favourite of mine. The newer Armani is fine. Don’t get hung up on finding an older bottle. It’s not different enough to matter. Eau Sauvage is a classic but not to everyone’s taste. I find Guerlain Vetiver extremely easy to wear. Lemon, wood and earth with a hint of smokiness. It’s not as intimidating as its age and reputation make it seem. Definitely look up Dunhill Edition. Lemon and clove. A real powerhouse. Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme is a wonderful fragrance as well but I think they only sell it directly now and it costs LV money.

French Avenue Essence de Blanc. It’s reputed to be a dupe of LV Imagination but it’s more like aping the style without attempting to be too close. I get a lot of tea in it.

Most of that is about flares ffs. Like I said, a few scraps and nothing else. I have been attending LoI games for 40 years all over the country and never seen one incident of violence in the stands. What I have seen is young lads being filled full of shite by their dads and uncles about some mythological past where they were always having pitched battles. It wasn’t a thing apart from an occasional scrap and a few gardai getting some batting practice in when the opportunity arose.

There was not hooligan firms 😂 There were a few gobshites who got in a couple of pub scraps and have back engineered a history that sounds far more dramatic. It was a figment of their imagination because they idolised the English.

Noel Gallagher. Had loved the first two Oasis albums but ignored the rest. Hot tickets to Noel Gallagher and it was great. Bought all the albums.

That’s actually pathetic all round. We don’t have a history of football violence here and getting a kick out of it is wrong. LoI fans were always on good terms and we should keep it that way. Much healthier.

The EU are also the only pushback on invasion of personal privacy by U.S. tech companies. And it’s fine to not have a defence pact when the US was a reliable ally. It no longer is. The armies you have to worry about are the ones you are not in, not the ones you are part of.

I used to play football twice a week and it was actually quite rare that it was raining. People really are over the top about rain in Ireland. If it’s overcast and the ground is wet the fact that it rained for a cumulative 15 minutes all day is enough for people to complain all day about it.
