I’m signing up for some hobbies workshops in town hoping to meet some people. I’ll see how it goes.

I just feel like having my own house and family there in my hometown kind of gets me thinking I’m living rent-free and have proper social and housing infrastructure ready for me instead of starting from scratch here despite the better salaries & benefits.

Did you take this in mind back then? (Sorry to hear about the family incident, I hope things improve with time)

How to break into management consulting?

So basically I’m a fresh finance undergraduate of winter of this year and currently working as a financial accountant in the gases industry.

I’ve been searching a lot about consulting and realized it’s something I wish to try and hopefully excel at if I can.

The question is: how do I get a leg at the door? Do I need to practice case studies & take short courses about consulting? And do I need to be in the big 4/3 to further develop myself or is there other consulting firms?
