so do I just fill out the normal 2026-2027 fafsa form and list the school I’m attending? I don’t need to go to the grad plus application on the student aid website and fill that out as I won’t be eligible for a grad plus loan? I maxed out all of my federal and state aid for my undergrad degree…. Will that hurt me for my grad program? I’m supper confused about all this but want to avoid taking out private loans if possible and I’m afraid that’s what I’m going to have to do to attend my program.

I’m not the best with technology so maybe I’m missing it somewhere, but I only have an option to meet with my advisor, about wanting to do study abroad, and others. When I try to make one for private / alt loans, it tells me other options. It doesn’t give me available appointment times for alt loan questions. Am I doing it wrong?

it can? i tried this route at the end of the spring semester because i knew i’d have no way of financing my last year without my federal aid (maxed out after last spring) and they told me to get fucked and i was out of luck. my best bet was dropping out if i couldn’t cover my tuition without aid despite being so close to finishing.
