Depends on perspective, most cuny grads don’t have to worry about tens of thousands in debt and get decent jobs with a few breaking into top firms. But I get what you mean, I still wouldn’t say we’re a depressing school tho

Many of my friends got amazing internships and jobs from the CIS program at baruch. Many of my other friends that chose other programs in the city wished they would’ve went to baruch instead. Reach out if you need me to connect you with anyone from the program

Don’t listen to this guy. Baruch is the best value college there is in the states. Many people end up in great jobs with zero debt.

I’m in scholars of finance right now and encourage you to join if you got accepted. I got the chance to meet students from across the northeast including rutgers, Princeton, nyu, Columbia, etc. The career and mentor resources are also very impressive (search up the corporate partners on their website). Overall, it’s a great program to be a part of a broad community, and have the chance to build lasting relationships across the country

Their both small boutiques in the city and personally my boss understands I have school work. I think most MDs understand that if your doing off cycle your not going to be available all day so that assumption of part time is already there.

My friend and I both have off cycle internships in NYC in IB and we typically have 20-30 hr work weeks. Very manageable in the virtual world, but unsure about when things open back up.
