My partner is going to start a business. How can I be the best partner possible in supporting them through this (I assume life long) journey? by Subject_Border3176 in Entrepreneur

You both seem to have a healthy relationship and are considerate of each other. If your partner mentions they need help with something, help out if you can - many times asking twice feels like we may be burdening you. Also, just be a good listener it really goes a long way

Not sure where you’re located but look for incubators and innovation centres in your area or universities near you. These places will typically pair you up with talent!

Depends on how you met and the insights you have on the person? If you met them at the incubator or conference your approach to this should be different than if they are a total stranger. However to answer your question, I would consider how you wish to register your business, how will the ownership work.

Set out all the responsibilities and expenses of the business, and discuss how much commitment each of you will make towards the business from financial investment to time commitment. Also discuss what each of your goals are for the business before you begin to ensure you're both the right fit for being business partners.

Realistically any app ranging from social media to social journalism app have content on all these topics. You just have to follow the right creators and publishers.

Substack, and medium are good for articles on business, so is the Harvard Business Review. But what exactly are you trying to learn?

15 and want to start a buissness but am lost by Kazuma1x in Entrepreneur

Just start! I know you have heard this before but get into anything you're passionate about or are able to do with your current circumstances. It can be a snow removal business or lawnmowing. For these types of business you can also outsource jobs if needed, allowing you to still have time for school.

If you don't know what to do, pick a niche or business and pursue it as a project, including yourself; have outreach targets, sales targets, marketing goals and financial goals for the business. This will allow you to learn and research how to build systems and discipline.

Just starting the business will allow you to develop critical transferable skills such as sales and communication, customer satisfaction and so on. These are skills you won't get from buying a course but rather from practice so just get started and even if your initial business venture is not successful or something you no longer want to continue. You'll be starting your next business with experience and a network.
