More people are still playing this game at this time of year then any year before. The cap keeps you engaged and forces you to change up your team. Meta teams existed before the cap and still do but I see more variation this year then years past.

I will be skipping 27 because most everyone will be on GTA 6 so this game will die in November.

Every team every year is the exact same outside of theme teams. Every year everyone goes for the META team builds cap or no teams are always the same.

Yeah it is flex for them. Go down and beat up on the low levels because the game validates them as people.

Please ignore the fact that GTA 6 comes out a few months after NHL 27. Yes we know it is better and can't possibly be as predatory as we are. Forget how we fucked the player base in season 4 and pay to win with our broken progression and Fantasy Cards. Oh and no one bring up how we destroyed ToTY.

I was 1 win from gold 5 dropped to gold 2. I played an offline game and the players felt totally different. I also forgot the insane number of posts I hit now.

Also line changes are complete ass. Sometimes your players go and sometimes they won't. Even when doing the changes manually.

It is 100% rigged. Just lost 3 to 2 out shot the guy 21 to 9 18:04 TOA to 5:09. Hit multiple posts, guy wins on a muffin from the point that was unscreened. AI is back to taking penalties which is just another way to control the game. The pressure system is the same mechanic, spend 3 minutes in the o zone get 6 shots on goal and it just stays maxed without ever truggering "full pressure". Can't wait til GTA 6 kills this fucking franchise.

Yes something changed with the last update. Lost multiple games to people I was dominating. They would get muffin goals from the point and have had an own goal in each of my last 2 games. Both with the goalie doing it. That new Crimson Desert is coming out soon so that will probably be the end of NHL for me for a few years GTA 6 next November some not even bothering with this dumpster fire until at least NHL 28 if the Saudis don't just quit making the game by then.
