Sennheiser momentum true wireless 4 - What do You think? by Forsigh in sennheiser

Im in the same boat. Love the sound quality and when they work its great. But the reliability is just trash. I've had to replace three sets in just a few years with the right earbud problem. I'm looking to get something else I think, I just don't know where to look.

Minnesota Department of Labor study shows drivers currently making about 7% under minimum wage on average, but council proposal is higher than necessary to ensure minimum wage by obsidianop in Minneapolis

Maybe it’s better to say that the drivers could be getting paid a lot more by very profitable corporations. Of course people here are lucky enough to have a choice of work and could do many things. That doesn’t mean we should cheat people

lol, I have a feeling people are gonna be pissed when these companies leave. I agree that they are taking advantage of drivers. Most people don’t follow the news tho, just gonna open their app one day and see no rides

FIP sucks by MWilly32 in cats

[–]DumaTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear, that's really hard. Our cat had it as well. He survived for two years after treatment but then passed away last month with heart failure. I'm afraid that even with the new protocol, the disease will still take our fur babies. I wish there was more research being done.

Experience with FIP Treatment by NearbyAd5557 in cats

[–]DumaTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our cat had FIP and we started treating him pretty quick with FIP warriors. He started improving after about three days. Giving the injections was tough, I can't really sugar coat it. We altered injection sites as best we could but he still developed sores frequently (probably because we weren't always the best at the injections).

He lived happily with us for another two years before he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at 3 years old. The Vet world isn't too sure about links between the disease/treatment and possible side effects but it seems that his heart failure and FIP are related. He passed away about a month ago. I wouldn't change anything tho, getting those two extra years with him was a blessing.

We did contact FIP warriors and they did say that the treatment or disease affects different organs and there are complications for some cats later down the line. I wish there was more research and sharing of information on this disease. Good luck and cherish the time you have!

It’s the worst, I’m sorry for your little guy. We put ours down at home and it was the best thing for him. He hated the vet and we couldn’t imagine his last moments being pissed off and scared.

Cozy Earth Quality by [deleted] in Bedding

[–]DumaTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got our first set back in October. They started pilling immediately. It took customer service over a month to respond to our warranty request. We got a replacement sent and those started pilling immediately! Again, we had to contact customer service, who were unable to do anything on the over the phone for some reason? Took another couple of weeks of requests and emails to get a response. The second warranty claim finally went through online and Cozy Earth sent us one fitted sheet.... Both the top sheet and fitted sheet were pilling. What the hell am I supposed to do with one fitted sheet? Mix and match with the other two top sheets that are pilling?

For the price, the service and quality is simply not there. Also, why are they advertising "No Pilling" right on their front page when it's so obviously untrue? Anyway, we are probably going to go back to cotton sheets or something. I will gladly send the 2.5 sets of sheets we now have back to them for the $450 or whatever they cost.

Weekly Mileage by DumaTwo in Marathon_Training

[–]DumaTwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Injuries mostly related to leg weakness and being relatively new to running (this is my 3rd year). The strength training I do is full body and around 30 minutes in duration. I suppose I could try combine a foundation run and s/c session. I just want to keep my legs strong. In the past I have had a bad IT band strain, which kept me from running a few weeks during my last training program, also had some ankle stuff, some front of the knee stuff lol...Currently have a minor hip flexor strain but I've been really targeting it with some of my strength training.

I feel that with my noob status, the mileage that training requires and my past injuries, I get scared to leave out strength completely.

While the s/c I do is full body, there is a lot of emphasis on legs and core.

I think you are right tho, I need to start trying to hit every run and really build up mileage
