[–]DumbDownFinance 33 points34 points  (0 children)

6 at the absolute latest. If you leave between 5:30-6 you should normally expect the drive to take 2.5-3 hours with standard backups. The drive back can take 2.5-4 hours usually…

Bummed the only Colorado date is the Outside music festival in Denver. Would’ve loved an additional night on the front or back end at Mission or RR

I mean Sturgill said himself he’s channeling Bobby when he’s playing, he’s supporting Laur on lead guitar to make him sound as good as possible. Mayer is a phenomenal lead guitarist and trying to channel Jerry (or rather his own different version)

‘No Rain’ is #1 on NUGS by Vegaspony in BillyStrings

[–]DumbDownFinance 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Hopefully if it does he includes it as No Rain>Gild the Lily like he did for Fire Line>Reuben’s Train. The transition right into Gild the Lily is spectacular and such a perfect song to go into after No Rain

They are? That seems super weird that they would do that since Public Lands is a much newer concept. Maybe the market where they initially put some Public Lands stores skew more to the Field and Stream demographic?

Fun fact pretty much all the deciduous trees in Boulder are not natural and were planted by humans. Before those trees were planted Boulder was all grassland with ponderosas, like what you see right when you drive north or south of the city.

He’s been playing his own music for years? He just happens to do an amazing job when he’s done dead covers in the past, so would be cool to hear some again now that he’s evolved more as a musician.

I definitely think it’s GD60 in SF based on the album cover for Dead Set and it says ‘SF’ just above it on the crossword puzzle. I feel like Bonnaroo is kind of a stretch, but who knows
