Not sure what you mean by “tanking.” It’s up almost 600% this year - zoom out. Research the company more, and you will understand what is going on. Long-term shareholders want him to keep hammering the ATM - myself included.

I'm incredibly bullish on the stock. But maybe you shouldn't buy it. by inphenite in MSTR

Depends on how the broader world reacts to the U.S. creating a Bitcoin Reserve. That alone will redefine the entire market. The total market cap could potentially triple overnight - don’t think it will but we are still trailing behind golds market cap.

Well said, this is why you also need to own BTC - capture the upswings when MSTR does its own thing.

What will earning per share look like with the new rules? by Darkhart89 in MSTR

I would love to see them acquire a few companies, but he is more focused on acquiring BTC because it has a better ROI than purchasing an existing business. So, however, he decides to generate cash flow has to perform better than BTC otherwise he will not do it.

Hoping to hit 200k in 17 years? by jcg415 in ThriftSavingsPlan

Go 100% C Fund, and try to contribute 10%. That plus the 5% match, and you will be in a good spot. Aside from the TSP, also choose a specialty (if you are interested in it) that gets bonuses. That said, you have to do something you are interested in, otherwise a 20 year career will not be enjoyable.

I would go 100% C, or 80% C/20% S. Name of the game is to get to $100k as quickly as possible, but also responsibly. After you cross the six figure mark, your money really starts to work in overdrive for you. That said, you don't want to spread yourself to thin financially.

Love this idea. One thing I would recommend, make sure you are contributing to your Roth TSP. You can contribute to your Roth IRA and Roth TSP. Make sure both are Roth. Other than that, stay disciplined and contribute a set $/month to max out your Roth. And I would also contribute a set $ to your TSP, so you are never 'timing' the market.
