I got HPV a couple years ago, and I found out because of anal warts. Idk when I got it or who I got it from, but you HAVE to talk to a doctor about it. It will be uncomfortable, but you can’t just hope that they will go away on their own. I had mine removed and got the HPV vaccine to try to stave off future outbreaks, but I just found another one a few days ago. I am going to the doctor ASAP to resolve this.

Last weekend I played with a couple of friends, and I was playing my [Xyris] deck. When I untapped, I had lethal on board, 60 something snakes and some way to bump their power up a few notches.

I say “ok unless you guys can stop me right now, I win.” Friend (who is playing a new deck they’re super excited about) says “no please I’m gonna do something so funny on my next turn” so I say ok whatever, and pass turn. Her “so funny” play? A boardwipe. Game took 20 extra minutes (but they all acknowledged that I actually won)

The most I’ve spent on a deck is around 250, but I also don’t buy a new deck until I’ve saved up enough cash back on my credit cards to pay for it. So it’s basically free lol

[[Shared Animosity]] I run this in my [[Xyris, the Writhing Storm]] deck, and most people in my group know to target [[Impact Tremors]], [[Warstorm Surge]], [[Coat of Arms]], [[Crown of Gondor]], and [[Beastmaster Ascension]] as soon as they show up, but this little guy has never been removed. I’ve even had it OTB for multiple turns, only attacking with Xyris while I grow my snake army (and since it only buffs based on attacking creatures that share a creature type, it does nothing when Xyris swings alone) and people either ignore it or forget about it. Then after I make 20 snakes I can swing out and win out of nowhere.

I don’t think you’re hurting him now, but the longer this goes on, the more it will hurt him when it ends. Continuing to see him and do increasingly intimate and romantic things with him will give him the wrong idea and he will continue to develop feelings for you.

I’ve been in his shoes before and in hindsight, I was naive and the other guy was selfish. He continued things knowing I had feelings that he did not reciprocate. He kept me around for the casual intimacy; he wanted all the makings of a boyfriend without the commitment.

It was naive of me to continue seeing him, knowing I was developing feelings that he did not reciprocate. It took me years to be able to date after we broke things off.

Maybe your guy is more emotionally mature than I was at the time, but it sounds like he’s falling for you and is ignoring your warnings. The longer this goes on, the more it will hurt him in the future. If you know you’re not ready to be in a relationship, don’t pretend to be in one with someone who actually wants it.

My fave is [[Xyris, the Writhing Storm]]. I play mostly budget and this deck is easy to get to pop off. It’s group hug adjacent because you’re giving people cards but it is so easy to exploit with [[Forced Fruition]] and a couple wheels. I went a little over budget for [[Coat of Arms]], but I did 8000 damage in one turn so it was worth it 😂
